Story

Imogene is the cutest and shyest dog in foster mom's home, she is figuring out that people are kind and loving and she is happy to lay on the couch and lounge around the house, she's also figured out she likes to go on walks with foster mom. She still remains shy and when you call her she doesn't come to you yet but she will allow you to pick her up and put her wherever you want her. She is delicate and quiet but blossoms with time and patience. Imogene is house trained and crate trained. She gets excited for food and walks. Imogene will need a secure fenced yard and be able to be secured so she doesn't run out the door when ppl are not paying attention. She will bond to her new people within weeks after she gets used to a new home. Foster mom has done extensive work with her on trust building and gentle training. She loves treats and is very food motivated. Imogene's ideal home is a patient adult home with retired couple, single or young married/single who works from home and has a gentle personality. Imogene likes dogs and her best friend in foster care is a Great Pyraneese giant female dog that she loves. She will play with little friendly dogs too. Meet Trio! Trio is a sweet boy, 4 years old, weighing about 11 lbs. Trio is a dachshund and chihuahua mix. At one time in Trio's life, he was attacked by a big dog and had to have his right rear leg amputated but that hasn't slowed him down one bit. He runs circles at high speed in the yard playing with the other foster dogs at his foster home. He does get along with other dogs. He loves walks and going for rides in the car. 9/14/26- This goodfall came in with a goldendoodle. They were lovely house dogs. Unfortunately the family and the neighbor were having issues in regard to the fencing. The dogs got out and the dog pound gave them a hefty fine. The family had to many issues and decided to resch out to us. He loves children and plays well with other dogs. He has since been to the vet and received vaccines and also neutered. He walks well on a leash. He can be bossy with other males if pushed. He has a goofy fun personality.
