Ben and Jerry were found wandering the streets in Midway City by a kind gentleman who corralled them and brought them to AALOC. They are brothers and are completely bonded so they cannot be separated. If you are looking for a pair of dogs as an addition to your family, Ben and Jerry would be just the right double scoop of love. Ben and Jerry are very young Dachshund mix dogs, full of life and affection. They are small in size, about 15 pounds each, and they love to walk and play together. They are housebroken and play well with other dogs. Overall they are very well-behaved young dogs available for adoption by a loving family. Please submit an application to adopt Ben and Jerry at www.AALOC.org. Once your application is reviewed and approved we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Ben and Jerry and get to know them a bit. Grover was wandering around Garden Grove when a kind neighbor picked him up and brought him to AALOC for safekeeping and to help Grover find his owner. Unfortunately, Grover wore no collar, had no tags nor was microchipped, so even after repeated attempts to locate his owner the AALOC team was unsuccessful. Grover is a dachshund mix with a longer body and shorter legs. His ears are shorter than a full breed dachshund, more like a terrier. He has a smooth, short brown coat which will require minimum brushing and bathing, brown eyes and a black nose, and a personality all his own. He loves to cuddle and play, and his favorite pastime is walking, second only to gnawing on his chew toys. Getting Grover to eat is no problem whatsoever: he loves food! Grover is currently in foster care but is ready to find his forever home. Please apply to adopt Grover at www.AALOC.org. 4/3/26- Hello my name is Alma I came into this rescue because my previous owners are moving out of state and their new home doesn’t allow pets. I am a very loving , snuggly , happy Weiner dog I love sleeping with a blanket I sometimes hide under a blanket and when my foster looks for me around the house I play peek-a-boo it is the cutest thing ever! Alma is now up to date on vaccines and ready for a home of her own. The only way we show a dog. Is by first emailing us at animalprayers@gmail.com and requesting an application.
