Story
Igor, though small in size, comes with a big attitude and enormous heart for his carers. He is a lap prince and will lick your face, eyes and ears if given a chance. He is very sweet with all adults and seems to especially enjoy the company of men. He does well with other small dogs, but can be reactive with larger dogs if not introduced properly. Igor also has issues with separation anxiety and would do best in a home where someone is home all day or able to have him looked after. He is just reaching the beginning of adulthood, but still has a young energy. His favorite activities include digging, sniffing for treats and playing with squeaky balls. He sleeps most of the day but at walks and meal times you will see his playful side come out.

Story
Nacho is an approximately 2 year old, 12#, miniature dachshund with striking blue eyes. He is house-trained, crate-trained and dog-friendly. Nacho was found as a stray here in CO and was shutting down in the shelter from fear of his environment. Given time and space in his foster home, he eventually started playing with his doggy foster brother and snuggling his humans on the couch. He is still jumpy around sudden movements and loud noises but has mostly settled in and will likely need time to adjust again in a new environment. He has not been kid-tested, but due to his fears only homes with respectful kids 12+ or no children will be considered. Nacho goes willingly into his crate for midday rests and sleeps in his crate at night. He will quietly whine when he is ready to be let out of his crate. When Nacho is feeling playful, he will spin in circles and hop around. He enjoys leashed walks and does a pretty good job of covering distance. However, he still has a fear of unfamiliar people and dogs and will bark at passersby. Nacho will not usually potty on leash so he requires a secure fenced yard. He is dog-friendly given time and will play with another small dog his size or he can be an only dog as he also does well on his own. If you are interested in meeting Nacho, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check and meet with everyone in the home. Nacho is neutered, UTD on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. His adoption fee is $400 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.March 14, 2025, 3:19 pm

Story
Meet Mittzy – The Sweetest Little Lady!    Mittzy is a charming black and tan beauty with soulful eyes and the softest coat. According to the shelter vet, she’s a long-haired Dachshund (or as we like to say, a “doxson” with flair!)—but whatever her exact mix may be, one thing’s for sure: she’s an absolute doll. Her foster mom says, when I lay down she snuggles her head into my neck. When I get up to walk to another room she's right there following me being my tail. She's a sweetheart and loves to flirt with the boy dogs, giving them puppy kisses and placing her little paws on their shoulders. Mittzy is around 3 to 4 years old and weighs a petite 15 pounds. She loves people and greets everyone with a happy tail and a gentle demeanor. She’s also been very friendly with the other dogs in her foster home—playful but polite, never pushy. Whether she’s lounging on the couch, exploring the backyard, or just soaking up attention, Mittzy has a calm, affectionate presence that makes her a joy to be around. She’s the kind of pup who would love to be your sidekick for cozy evenings, short strolls, and everything in between. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a soft heart and silky ears, Mittzy might just be your perfect match. If you would like to adopt, please complete an application  at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $400 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   Please note, Circle 2 Rescue cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have limited history prior to them entering the rescue.  ##2370514##

Story
Hello, these are my two dogs. Their names are Daisy and Joby. Daisy is 7 and Joby is 6. They are chihuahua dachshund mix. Daisy is our cuddle bug and will cuddle anybody at any given chance. Joby is our playful guy and loves to play with his sister. They have a very close bond. my husband and I found out recently that our son is allergic to dogs so we have no choice but to re-home our babies. This is very difficult for my family. We would really like for them to stay together. We got them when they were both little babies and have had them ever since. We got them from a family friend. They are both up to date on all of their vaccinations. They are crate trained. Daisy is spayed, but Joby is not neutered. We would be willing to get him neutered before re-homing him though. If I have no luck re-homing them I will have to take them to the shelter and that is my last last resort. Please help us give these babies a forever home. Thank you.
