Meet Slinky! Slinky is a 7 year old Dachshund.  He is great with all people ,including kids. Slinky is also great with other dogs and cats.  Slinky enjoys being by his people. He will follow you around and won’t stray too far away if outside. Slinky enjoys the outside and rolls around in the grass. He loves being carried, snuggled, and belly rubs. Slinky loves giving kisses.  Slinky enjoys chasing his humans and is also great on a leash. His favorite thing is to go on walks. He also loves to snuggle and nap near his humans. Slinky is currently working on being housebroken and is making great progress. He is also crate trained.  Slinky does bark every once in a while, but nothing aggressive. Just when he hears other dogs. He does get a bit car sick, so he doesn’t travel far too well. Slinky is a great dog overall and does not have any restrictions or bad behaviors. He just needs a human to love him up all the time. He is up to date on vaccines, neutered, and had a dental. Meet Katie!! She is a 2-year-old Dachshund mix who weighs  24 lbs. She was surrendered with her brother from an owner who had too many dogs. Katie was pregnant & now that all her puppies are adopted it is her turn to find a forever home. Katie’s foster mom says she is the most special girl who needs a special family. Katie is a very shy & unsure dog who will need time & patience as she gets accustomed to a new home. We think she would do best in a home with one or more other dogs as she looks for reassurance from the other dog in her foster home. She is very low energy, so we don’t think she needs a fenced yard & would be fine with a few short walks a day & would do well in an apartment or condo as she is dog that rarely barks. With Katie’s shyness she would do best with a quiet home without young children or a lot of people coming & going as she gets overwhelmed very easily. Katies is crate trained, housebroken & treat motivated. Little lady Sadie is ready for her forever home after being rescued from a Louisiana hoarder house. We were told she is 2 years but think more like 4-5, 10 pounds. Sadie is shy at first, needs time to feel comfortable; then a devoted best friend, who loves lap time, being close. She gets along with the other dogs, plays a little, cuddles; can be jealous of lap time with just a tiny growl. She also enjoys yard time. Sadie would love an owner who'd spend lots of time with her.
