Gypsy loves her walks, is getting better and better on leash, and would make a fantastic hiking buddy. When she’s not scouting for squirrels (her favorite hobby), she’s happily following her person around the yard, supervising all outdoor projects like the best little forewoman on four paws. She’s playful (sometimes with toys, sometimes with your shoelaces), great with people, and does well with other dogs. LADY is long and low and simply gorgeous. She's a basset hound/beagle type mix, about 18 months old and fully grown at 32 pounds. She is an absolutely delightful girl who loves everyone she meets. She was a family pet who was surrendered through no fault of her own, her family was moving and couldn't take her along. Lady lived with kids, is dog friendly and ignores the cat in her foster home. She's confident and playful. She loves to run and romp and play and needs a home with a physically-fenced yard to keep her from following her nose into trouble. Lady is housebroken and crate trained. If you'd like to meet Lady, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Lady at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate. Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. He was relinquished to OBHR because he was one of 4 high energy dogs in the house and it was too much to handle. Basically because he is a hound dog! So if you are familiar with hounds he will fit right into your family! He will need a home with a fenced in yard and someone who can keep him active and exercised! He loves to play with his toys and snuggle, go for hikes and loves ice cubes and baby carrots! His adoption fee is $300 and he is currently located in Columbus. House trained, can use a doggie door and a vehicle ramp. He gets along with other dogs and would love a furry friend to play with. This guy loves to go for walks and does good on car rides. Cuddling on the couch is his favorite past time and if you have a blanket you'll have to share, he insists. Flash does have some separation anxiety his foster is working on him with and giving him calming treats when he leaves for work. Ideally his new home would be home frequently and have experience with separation anxiety in dogs. He is being fostered in Toledo, up to date and fixed, and requires a fenced in yard.
