He can be shy at first, but once he feels safe, his sweetness shines through. He gets along beautifully with other dogs and would do best in a peaceful environment, adults only, where he can come out of his shell at his own pace. If you’re looking for a gentle companion who just needs a little patience and a lot of love, Lil Man might be your perfect match. Give this sweet boy the quiet life he’s been waiting for. All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. I got my sweet dog in Texas, He was the only one left and he was just so perfect! With me and my husbands busy schedule we just cant be home to take him out or anything. We would never want to neglect him in anyway. He isnt fully housebroken. He still has some accidents. He is a great dog. He gets along with our cats. Hes Very active when you rile him up, but otherwise he’s a sleeper, he loves cuddles! he LOVES attention. He loved to play. He just takes time meeting new people. Hes protective over us but when left alone with others he does fine. Please help us find him a loving home!

Located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders. This girl was brought in with babies when her owner couldn't take care of her. She was not socialized very well so will need some work. She will need a very patient person to get her to come out of her shell. She was kept outside so she has no house manners, nor has she been with cats. She does do well with dogs her size and seems to like to play with them. She deserves a new chance to be a loved dog and companion. She will take a lot of time and investment but deserves a chance!

She gets so excited when she sees you and squeals with excitement.  Burt: 4 years old - loves to play with toys are explore. He’s the most playful of the 3, but comes in for snuggles as soon as you sit down.  Oreo: 4 years old - loves to be under the blankets and snuggled warm. Shes calm and sweet and looks at you with her sweet eyes just patiently waiting her turn to get loving.  They are all super cuddle bugs, calm, snd sweet.  They are kennel trained, and do very well with going potty outside.  ##2626399##
