**Sammy is a Patient Paw, please ask about their reduced adoption fee and the possibility of a sleepover!**Sammy is available through our `Adopt From a Foster Home` program. If you are interested in scheduling a meeting, please fill out the request form here: Adopt From Foster Form. Please do not make an appointment through our online booking calendar, as he is not available to meet on site.Sammy is a sweet, social boy with a huge heart and a wiggly bum! He’s thrilled to meet everyone he encounters, including young kids, and greets new friends with enthusiasm. Sammy adores his humans and firmly believes he belongs as close as possible at all times; whether that’s curled up beside you or attempting to be a lap dog (regardless of his size), snuggles are non-negotiable.This high-energy guy loves his daily walks and would make a fantastic adventure buddy for an active home that enjoys getting out and about together! While Sammy’s past is a bit of a mystery, he may do well with other animals given slow, thoughtful introductions. In a previous foster home, he did interact wonderfully with a 5-year-old and would likely love little humans to run around with! Sammy does have allergies, but it’s been very manageable with the right diet and medication, and it doesn’t slow him down from living a full, happy, love-filled life! He’s ready to bring joy, energy, and endless affection to his forever family, the rest is up to you!Sammy is:- good with kids- open to dogs (minor reactivity in shelter)- open to cats but did fixate in a former foster home
