Looking to rehome my neighbor’s dog, Abby. She is a 5 yr old white lab mix. She’s a sweet, calm girl, who likes to go on walks. She was with her owner since she was 6 weeks old and her owner has recently passed away. Abby needs a family who will give her a safe, loving home.

Story
Maverick is a 7 year old male border collie. He is a playful, loving, medium sized, cuddle bug. Maverick likes walks and playing ball. He loves treats! His worst trait is getting excited and so he jumps. House trained, crate trained and an all over good boy. Leash, kennel and supplies are his to go with him. His Mom has had him since a puppy and very sad to leave him but her job changed and she can’t care for him now. Looking for a good home for his 2nd 1/2 of life. Great dog for those who don’t want a puppy who tears things up or chews on the furniture but still wants an active, non senior dog. Free to good home. Shots up to date.

Story
Abby is a 5-year-old Boxer/Lab mix who has been a loved part of our family for years. She is house-trained, loving, playful, energetic, and very sweet. She loves children and does well with other animals. Abby has lots of energy, so we would love preferably for her to go to a home with kids and a large yard or field where she has plenty of room to run and play. She can be a little hyper at times, but she is very affectionate and loves being around people. We are looking for a safe, loving, and responsible home that will treat Abby like part of the family and give her the attention, exercise, and love she deserves.

Story
Polly Anna is 27 lbs, blind and approximately 5 years old. She would be best with someone who loves to cuddle with their pups since her favorite place is your lap! She is a pretty chill girl and will quickly adapt to a new home. We are looking for a home where she is either an only dog or there’s one other sighted dog. Once Polly Anna knows your schedule she is housebroken unless it is raining and like most cockers thinks she will melt if she gets wet. Her non-negotiables are she needs a fenced yard, no cats, someone who either works from home or is retired because how can she sit in your lap if you’re not there? Polly Anna does have a heart condition controlled by medication twice a day. She loves pill pockets so that is easy. Polly Anna is not crate trained and does not appreciate being shut away from her people. If interested in adopting your new best friend, companion and lap warmer submit an application at saveourcockerspaniels.org. ❤️ **Please apply to adopt at www.saveourcockerspaniels.org** SOCKS adopts to families in Florida, Georgia, Southern Alabama, and southeastern Mississippi. If you are out of the state of Florida, you would need to travel to Florida to complete your adoption. Please note that we do check vet references, and your current pets must be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing, and be able to provide proof of purchase of heartworm prevention. All dogs and cats in your home must be spayed or neutered. We will not set up a meet and greet until your application has been received, reviewed, and approved.  Adoptions are not done on a first come, first served basis. We will accept applications and then screen all and choose the best match. Only approved applicants will be contacted.
