Story
Meet Rocky! Friendliest boy with the biggest grin 😁 He had a very ruff start in life it appears. When we found him he was very fearful whenever a hand was raised but very quickly overcame that. He is the sweetest thing wanting hugs and reassurance repeatedly running back to make sure you are still "there", planting a foot on your foot and leaning against your legs trying to hold you in place, a sign of wanting reassurance. He adores our kids has met and likes our other dogs, plays well with another foster we have. Has seen our many cats and ignores them. He holds "it" all day til they are let out of their large kennels for their afternoon runs so I believe house training is/would be a cinch. His manners are a little on the creaky side but we are working on that. I can tell he would love to be someones adored house hippo ❤️.

Story
🐾 Meet Millie! 🐾 5‑Year‑Old Silky Terrier | Sweet, Loyal, Kid‑Friendly Millie is a darling 5‑year‑old Silky Terrier with a big heart and an even bigger love for her people. We recently adopted her from Orange County Animal Services, and she truly is a wonderful little dog—affectionate, gentle, and happiest when she’s right by your side. ✅ Great with young children ✅ Loves being with her human all day ✅ Up to date on vaccines ✅ Microchipped & spayed Millie does best in a cat free home, but loves dogs and kids. Unfortunately, she is not cat‑friendly, and because we have a cat, we’re looking for the perfect cat‑free home where she can thrive. She would do best with someone who works from home, is retired, or otherwise isn’t gone all day—she’s very people‑oriented and loves companionship. Millie deserves a home where she can feel safe, loved, and never lonely. If you or someone you know is looking for a sweet, loyal companion and has a cat‑free home, Millie could be the perfect match.

Story
We found Miss Peggy running through the middle of the road in march of 2025 and have been fostering her ever since. Neighbors in the area told us that she didnt have a home but would spend all day following anyone walking through to get a pat or two. True to that story, I don’t know if I have ever met a more loving pup. Peggy’s two favorite spots in the world are laps and warm beds. She has lived in a few different spots while we have worked to find her forever home, and we are happy to report she does well with cats (with a slow introduction), other pups, and kids. She is crate trained, has all of her basic obedience commands nailed, and is a generally agreeable pup. She is an energetic girl who does her best with long walks on the regular and dog park trips to make friends. At this time we are working with her on some mild leash reactivity (she loves squirrels). I can’t say just how much we love this perfect girl, we would happily keep her if we could! AMA!

Story
Both are around 3 months old. They can go to separate homes. They came from Alachua Animal Shelter where I started fostering them at 5 weeks old. These puppies are very sweet and have great temperaments and the personalities are hilarious and very different from each other.Wilbur is the blonde male.Wilbur is sweet and cuddly and would be a perfect napping buddy. He has a more blocky look and runs sideways. He’s very affectionate and he’s still learning manners but knows how to let you know he has to potty. He is very food motivated and likes to stare at me from the kitchen when he’s hungry. He also likes to sit and lean against things. Hank is the darker red male.Hank the tank is a goofy boy who loves playing and digging outside. He too is affectionate and very sweet and mischievous . He’s more adventurous than Wilbur. Clothes and shoes are his favorite thing to steal and run with. He will make you laugh.
