Story
Handsome Bilbo is an 8-year-old, purebred rat terrier. He's big and muscular for a rattie, weighing 30 lbs. Depending on what you're doing, he can be both energetic or a couch potato. If you're up for a game of tug-of-war or want to toss a toy around, he's ready too! After he has worn you out, though, he's happy to snuggle in for an afternoon of TV, snoozing between belly rubs and butt scratches.    Bilbo is house-trained and knows lots of commands, including sit, lie down, stay, wait, play dead, and more. He loves to go for walks and does great on a leash. A leash is essential when he is outside because he doesn't always come when called. Bilbo is used to staying home alone, is well-behaved, and has no separation anxiety. He is a resource guarder with food and will bite even the hand that feeds him if he thinks you might take his food away. It's best to tell him to 'wait' while you put his food down and then leave him alone while he's eating. Young children don't understand this, so Bilbo needs a home without little ones. He is also just generally uncomfortable around kids and can be defensively reactive. Bilbo gets along with some, but not all, dogs. Applicants who own other dogs should be agreeable to a meet-and-greet in a neutral place to see if the dogs get along.   Bilbo comes with a few quirks (all disclosed above), but what rescue dog doesn't? If you can forgive him for his little bit of baggage, he promises to do the same for you and to grow into a most wonderful companion! For additional photos, visit Bilbo's album at https://ImageEvent.com/newrattitude/bilbo .Our adoption fee is $200 for adult dogs or $250 for puppies under 6 months old. If you are interested in adopting this dog, PLEASE READ THE DETAILED ADOPTION PROCESS information on our website at www. NewRattitude.org/adopt/  From there, you can access our adoption application or contact our Adoption Team for more info. April 12, 2024, 10:30 am

Story
My pet's name is Koda. He is a hound dog. He is 3 years old. He likes to sleep all day. He rarely barks. He has separation anxiety, so when you try to leave he will try to bark. I am looking for someone to take care of my dog since I have lost my job and have no source of income to take him to the vet.

Meet  Oscar. A very sweet and playful young dog. He has puppy energy but also loves to cuddle and stare lovingly into your eyes. He does well on car rides and is good at the vet. He is a big love bug, ready for trail adventures or just plain old Nexflix binging. Oscar is learning good canine manners every day!April 15, 2024, 10:13 pm

Story
Froggy is a young, free-spirited and crazy dog! Not kidding you. He came to us as a super skinny, weak, injured boy, who now enjoys eating the fresh baked batch of chocolate chip cookies left on the counter and your roomates Fresh Market fettuccine alfredo (yeah, leave on the table, it is mine!) Froggy knows all commands, sit, down, stay...not that it makes much difference if there is a steak on the outdoor grill! Froggy is a lover of all humans and is currently living with 3 other dogs. Froggy's foster mom owns a farm, so the lad has been working hard on his country manners. Heaven's knows he needs to! So what say you? Ready to meet this character? Gives us a call!April 15, 2024, 10:13 pm

Hi, my name is Fernando but you can call me "Nando"! I'm a goofy, big boy looking for my forever home. I love giving kisses, enjoy walks, playing outside, and sun bathing. I will make you laugh because I don't understand personal space but we would make a solid team! I'm a sweet boy, fast learner and have a fantastic grasp of basic commands. I can't wait to meet you! All about Eve! Super easy dog, great companion. Eve is a lover of all humans and gets along well with canine companions. Eve has a unique congenital "claw" foot that adds to her personality (she loves to show it off). Eve's mobility has improved 100% under her current treatment and shows with a spring in her stepping. At ease at home on the couch or ridding shotgun in the car. Eve is the perfect pet companion.April 15, 2024, 10:13 pm
