Story
Meet Jojo, a lovable pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He is affectionate, curious, and always ready to make you smile with his playful and sometimes goofy nature. Jojo is incredibly friendly and forms strong bonds with his people, making him a loyal companion who will happily stick by your side. He gets along great with other dogs and even cats, making him a wonderful addition to a multi-pet household. Jojo also loves children of all ages and would thrive in a home where he can receive plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. Jojo enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring and taking in the world around him. While he is not fully potty trained yet, he is doing well with crate training and is on the right track with consistency and patience. Jojo is looking for a patient and committed adopter who is willing to help him learn proper house training. With consistency, guidance, and a loving environment, he has all the potential to develop great habits and become a well-mannered companion. If you’re looking for a sweet, fun-loving dog to grow with your family, Jojo might just be the perfect fit! Jojo weighs 13 pounds, is up to date on all his vaccines and is neutered. Jojo tested positive for heartworms when he was first rescued however he has undergone treatment and is ready for adoption. We recommend Jojo be re-tested 6 months after treatment. Jojo is being fostered in WESLACO, TEXAS. His adoption fee of $500 will include his transportation cost to an approved adopter outside of Texas. Story
Meet Buddy! Buddy is a 2-year-old Border Terrier mix weighing about 40 pounds. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, making him ready to find his forever home. Buddy previously tested positive for a tick-borne illness but has completed treatment and is doing great. Buddy is a social, friendly boy who gets along well with dogs of all sizes. As with any dog, proper introductions are always recommended to set everyone up for success. He is both house trained and kennel trained, though in a new environment he may mark initially—this is normal and typically resolves as he settles in. Buddy walks beautifully on a leash and truly enjoys being around people. While he hasn’t had experience living with children, his affectionate and easygoing personality suggests he would do well in a home with kids, as long as interactions are supervised. This active pup would thrive with a family that enjoys an active lifestyle. He loves to run, play, and spend time with other dogs, making him a great companion for outdoor adventures or a home with a playful canine friend. Buddy is currently being fostered in LA FERIA, TX, but can be transported to an approved adopter outside of Texas. His adoption fee of $450 includes transport. If you’re looking for a fun, loving, and loyal companion, Buddy may be the perfect fit for your family!
