⚡ A Storm Is Coming—but This One Brings Cuddles! ⚡Storm is currently in a Boise boarding facility.
Meet Storm, an 10-month-old German Shepherd mix with a big heart, a gentle spirit, and an irresistible love for peanut butter. 🥜💛
Don’t let his dramatic name fool you—Storm is a quiet, sweet-natured boy who isn’t much of a barker. His idea of causing a commotion is playing enthusiastically, making everyone smile, and then curling up beside his favorite person for a well-earned nap.
Storm’s mother, Sassy, is a smaller German Shepherd mix. DNA testing on one of his siblings indicates that the pups’ family tree likely includes German Shepherd, Husky, Border Collie, and Australian Cattle Dog, although each sibling’s individual mix may vary.

🐱 Storm has not yet been personally tested with cats or chickens. However, his siblings have adapted well to living with both, so we believe Storm may also adjust successfully with slow introductions, patience, and proper supervision.
Storm would love a home where he can enjoy the best of both worlds—playtime and outdoor adventures followed by plenty of affection and couch cuddles. Because he is intelligent and food-motivated, continued training should be a fun bonding experience for Storm and his new family.
Until he is neutered, Storm will be placed through a foster-to-adopt agreement, with his adoption finalized after the procedure. He is also available for a regular foster home if you would like to help him while he waits for his permanent family.
Storm may have a powerful name, but underneath it is a quiet, affectionate boy who simply wants someone to love.
