If you think this fun and goofy girl is a fit for your family, and you've considered the expenses of a giant breed dog, please fill out an application at https://brokenheartsrescue.wixsite.com/mysite/general-6-1 NOT AT ADOPT A PET. MUST BE WITHIN 4HRS OF TWIN FALLS, IDAHO. Sometimes, we will recommend professional training when adopting a certain dog out, both to help them, (AND YOU) learn how to best integrate that dog into your home. Training forms a bond and creates solid communication with you and your new family member. Since coming back, Siri has completed professional training and received her Canine Good Citizenship. She now has a great foundation for her new family to build on. You don't happen upon a great dog. You become great with the dog. Siri is a 1 1/2 year old, 100lb, Great Dane who has been spayed, double cherry eyes fixed, and had gastropexy surgery to prevent her stomach from flipping, which can be common in giant breeds. She is 1000% goofy girl. Though she sounds tough with her deep bark, she is more likely to tuck tail and hide behind you if something is scary. In fact, her recent trip to the vet had her sitting on her foster mom's lap while getting her vaccines. 🤣 Water from a hose is so fun, until the hose turns on her, then it's a mad dash to run away, tripping over her feet as she goes. Siri loves car rides and hopes her new family will take her on many adventures. A lot of experiences are very new to her, but she wants to be by your side doing it together. Siri is a little bit of a drama queen if she wants to do something, like go for a walk and you tell her no. Like every child, she tends to voice her opinion on why life is not fair. I swear she knows what you are saying, and you can almost understand her side of the argument. Siri will need a family committed to keeping up with her training. She is so much better with her new skills and her family needs to know how to help her continue to be the best girl she can be. Her adoption fee is $300 to help cover her medical and training.

Story
This little precious little girl is Janet Waller. She is currently 7 lbs and 3ish months old, and we think she may be a pittie/boxer mix, but with rescue it’s a guess! What matters most is that she is adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves her life as well as the life of another in its place. Janet is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. She loves to play with her siblings and take lots of naps. Eat, sleep, play, repeat- such is puppy life! Janet is still young so she will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Her new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate poop train their new puppy. When old enough, she will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! The adoption fee is $800 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Story
This little nugget, Lulu Luna, is perfect in every way! She is a 2ish year old beautiful soft brindle pittie mix weighing just under 51 perfect lbs. She is the perfect portable pocket size girl! Take a look here and read more below. Luna is wonderfully attentive to her person and can be buttered up and motivated by treats and affection. She really lights up when she feels your gaze fall on her, she will turn that charm on so fast and next thing you know, you’re in love! Its exactly what happened to me. She gave me the eyes, the love, and then hit me with a sit, down, shake combo and we almost ran away together. Luna did amazing during her assessment. She was in a playgroup with many different types of dogs and did well with a variety of play styles, temperaments, and energy levels. Luna loves to run and play and would enjoy the companionship of a playful playmate but she could also be just as fulfilled by the love and playtime her new person can offer. She knows when to take breaks from play and uses that time to check in with her person as if to say,”I’m good! Are you good?” Luna walks well on a leash and would enjoy daily walks, hikes and even short runs! This girls ideal home would include a yard or dedicated area where she can run and play to her hearts content. Although Luna is a quiet girl, she would do best in an home where she can play and occasionally soak up the sun during a mid-day nap. Even though Luna loves a good play session, she knows when it’s time to turn it down a few notches and settle in for couch time or belly rubs … which are one of her favorite things! This girl really craves humans affection and attention and will make the best snuggle buddy. She’s treat motivated so continued training should be a breeze. This girl could be a family dog but is also a dog that would be great for a single owner. No cats for this sweet girl, her attempts to play chase don’t translate well. Luckily the world is full of cat-free, dog-loving homes! If Luna sounds like your dream girl and you cant imagine her anywhere else but by your side… don’t wait, fill out an adoption application today. This gorgeous girl is magic and she will be gone before you know it. If you have any questions or would like us to explore how Luna handles any other situation or circumstance, email samanthar@threelittlepittiesrescue.org- we are here to help! Romeo, Romeo. Where for art thou Romeo? He's right here in Houston! And ready to travel to his soul mate(s)! Romeo is the perfect little compact companion at 1 year old and 10 pounds! We think he's a rat terrier mix, but with rescue its always best guess. Romeo likes to be with you and craves attention. All he wants is to be pet and maybe even play with another dog or two! Romeo is working hard in his foster home to learn all the things he will need to know to be the best doggo he can be! While he may serenade you with a love song when first in his crate, he will eventually realize those advances will not get him anywhere, and he quiets down. Romeo also has a good start on his house manners! But his family should expect to continue potty training as he adapts to his new life and schedule. Romeo will also need help with leash skills, but that's the easy stuff. In summary, Romeo is a loving, loyal, and cuddly little companion who also knows how to have fun! He could be an only dog, or live with other respectful dogs to pal around with. He has not been tested with kids or cats, but we are happy to do that!
