Poppy joined our family at 8 weeks from a breeder. She has lived with my husband and I for almost 2 years now. We have never had a small dog, and we’re surprised with how much energy she had. She is very intelligent, learning commands quickly. She is house broken, and loves a good nap on the couch several times a day. Our situation has currently changed. My husband is having to travel quite a bit for work, and I want to be able to go with him. We have been married for over 30 years, and really don’t enjoy spending time apart. Poppy deserves to be in a loving stable home, where she doesn’t need to boarded all the time. She is good with kids, but can be a bit pushy with babies and toddlers. She enjoys other dogs, not sure about cats. She loves to play fetch and tug of war. She loves a good snuggle. She has never met a dog or person that she doesn’t like.

Brookie was found on the side of the highway. She has been living with my family for a little while, but our landlord doesn't know. We cannot keep her for much longer due to the pet restrictions. She is very energetic and loves to play. Her favorite games are fetch and tug-a-war. We haven't socialized her with other dogs, but she seems to want to play with them, she also loves to say hello to people. She loves when we come home and wants to let everyone know how happy she is. She isn't super cuddly, but she will lay next to you. We are looking for someone who will have an active lifestyle with Brookie and will wear her out. I marked no for housetraining, as she isn't the best at letting us know she needs to go potty, but if you keep her on a good schedule, you should have very little accidents. She is crate trained and does well in one. She is incredibly smart and will learn quickly. She really just needs a good companion.
