Story

Valentine was adopted at 6 weeks from the animal shelter and immediately became my little bestie. She enjoys cuddle time, iPad time, toys, being outside, playing with friends (other dogs), and meeting new people. She knows how to sit, lay, give daps (shake), and she’s fairly potty trained unless left in the kennel for too long. Shes an amazing dog but with me going to the navy I simply just will not have time nor will I have anyone to care for her well I’m in basic. I hope that she goes to a amazing owner with either kids or other dogs.

We found Archie as a stray in Sept 2025, no one answered our ad, he is now 18 mos-2 years old. He had no problem blending in to our multiple dog household and seemed to have been a house dog, enjoying rough and tumble play with our smaller dog. Archie is up-to-date on shots, heartworm negative, chipped, recently neutered,, rides well in the car, uses a doggie door,is not cat friendly! He now weighs 52 pounds and very strong! Archie is surely mixed breed, but looks like, and shares many characteristics of a Carolina Dog, including a lot of vocalizing!My husband and I are elderly and since Archie joined our family, we’ve had multiple medical issues and realize Archie is too much dog for us long-term, and he would be better off in a setting where he can get training and plenty of exercise, which we are not going to be able to do. He’s very smart, eager to learn, very trainable and wants to be a big lap baby!We want him to go to a good home and enjoy a long happy life!
