Story
Charlie was pulled as a foster from a dog shelter in Louisiana and was due to be euthanized. Charlie was adopted a month later who had to return hime, before their housing became unstable, and their landlord threatened Charlie for guarding the family's yard. In January 2024, we placed him another home. At the end of August, 2024, he was picked up by Animal Control after being hit by a car. His new owner never reached out to us. He lost an eye but fully recovered. Since then he has been trained by Easternshore K9, one of the best board and training facilities and is looking for a good home for with a strong and athletic individual who can run with Charlie and who can match his energy. Charlie is best being the only dog. We have three seniors who cannot get along. Charlie deserves a stable and loving environment. He is well trained and excellent to run with and walk and behaves well in social setting like bars. We can setup a time with his trainer to discuss.

Story
Pepper is a beautiful 10 month old, 40 pound loving and active puppy. She’s very curious and loves to play with toys. She also loves to snuggle at night. Unfortunately, she does not get along with one of my other dogs. There have been no fights or injuries, just aggressive play, and a distaste for each other. It makes my other dog very uncomfortable and I need to remove her from my home as soon as possible. Pepper has been to day camp and overnight camp. The staff loves her and she gets along with every other dog she’s met. She spayed, vaccinated and healthy.

Story
Mr. Darcy is a calm, unassuming companion with a sweet disposition. His bark at the doorbell invokes a spirit of protection but strangers with a treat and scratch behind the ear, are soon best friends.. Twelve years ago, a single girl impulsively adopted Mr. Darcy from a pet store while on her lunch break. She snuck the puppy back into work in her purse and she never looked back. Through the years, they comforted each other with cuddles, rope tugs of war, and walks. Over time though, a busy life interrupted their routine and Mr. Darcy gradually became an afterthought. Though he is getting on in years, his eyes still light up when a backyard rabbit hops by or a baby drops a bite of food at the dinner table. Mr. Darcy deserves attention, love, and care in his final years.
