Story
She is a Jack Russell Terrier mix approximately two years old and was adopted by my mother in July 2023 from the Harrison County Humane Society on 25th Avenue in Gulfport. She is called Acorn from the shelter and my mother kept the name. She is fixed and has been microchipped, however never registered with the vet. Since my mom is now back on chemo, she is no longer physically able to care for this high-spirited little girl, it is best for her to be rehomed. A small $50 fee for a good home immediately. Please email me to discuss and set up a meet and greet or a delivery. Thank you, Teresa Johnston

Story
Gordy is a fun loving, energetic lab mix, who loves affection. Gordys past living situation was outside, with many other dogs, and no vet care. Since Gordy has been rescued, he has been treated for mange, tick disease, and heartworms. He has made tremendous progress in his foster home, but is still very fearful of strangers. Gordy has a lot of personality, is a great communicator (you’ll always know exactly how he’s feeling), and plays well with other dogs, would also thrive as an only dog. Gordy gets very excited, so a home with small children or small animals will not work well for him. Gordy is about 60 pounds but thinks he is small and petite. He is neutered, walks well on a leash, knows some basic commands, and is completely house trained (those are great accomplishments in such a short time). Gordy lives for playtime and snuggling with his person, he does not like to be in a kennel. He will attach himself to the person he trusts, but this will take some time an effort to gain, but he is worth it! If you are looking for a lazy dog, he will not be the one for you. If you are looking for a best friend who adores you and is always ready to hang out, Gordy may be your perfect fit!
