Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Good with cats, Needs experienced adopter,
Story
Meet Charlie. She is almost 2 years old. She is a Aussie-Heeler mix. Her dad is pure bred Australian Shepherd and her mom is 1/2 Australian shepherd, 1/2 Heeler. Charlie L O V E S to play! She is an expert at fetch, loves to help with yard work (dragging limbs/sticks), will let you know if ANYone has arrived to your home, and is 100% house trained. She also loves to snuggle and just be right by your side. That being said, once she has claimed you as her human, all others wanting your attention will be met with a Charlie Challenge! She associates well with most male dogs, but females are OUT OF THE QUESTION! She also has some sort of fear/aggression towards large men, especially with loud voices. She is also startled easily and has sort of a “nervous, on edge” way about her. Most importantly, though, she just needs your unconditional love! She is very vocal and will do her best to communicate with you. She’s a pretty great gal. Thanks for letting me share her with you!

Story
Knubbs is such a sweet but stubborn boy. It takes him a while to get started training but once he learns it he is very smart. He loves to get back scratches and just lounge around. When he gets started playing, you can't slow him down. Knubbs has been raised outside but does love to come inside when it's hot or cold. He tries to jump on the couch but I just put a blanket or something on the floor and he will lay there. He was supposed to be adopted out to my friend in Texas but she had some unexpected events and couldn't. We wanted to try to keep him but the puppies got into the neighbors yard and attacked their cat, the cat is fine, so we need to find new homes for them. He has never had a problem with other dogs, we have 2 small breeds they are fine with, nor has there been a problem with people. I wish I could keep my pups, I have grown very attached, but I can't. Please help me find a home for these sweet guys soon. I don't know what will happen to them if I don't.

Story
Princess is going to be tough for me to find a new home for. She is such a smart and lovable dog. I knew from the beginning I would keep this girl. She was born here by my boyfriends dog Lucy, American bulldog, and Bruce, red nose pitbull. She loves to run around in the yard and play with her brothers. She knows basic commands and learns pretty fast. I just haven't had enough time to work with her since there are 3 of them. Princess will be your best friend if you let her. First time I put her on a leash she stayed right by me. Never tried to pull or run off. She is eager to learn. I wish I could keep her because she is such a good dog, but they got into the neighbors yard and attacked their cat, the cat is fine. I'm not even sure which dogs did it, but they said all of them did and they want them killed. I don't think they deserve that because 1. the cat is fine and 2. they didn't know any better. It should be on me for letting them get over there. Please help find a home for them.

Story
Hondo was born here, by my boyfriends dog Lucy. She's full blood American bulldog, and the dad is red nose pitbull. Hondo is 6 months old. He has been raised outside, but comes inside every now and then. Hondo is full of energy but he has a sensitive side. He was the runt of the litter. My aunt was supposed to adopt him but due to medical reasons she had to back out. I was going to keep him with the other 2 but they all got in the neighbors yard and attacked their cat, the cat is fine though, so we have to find them homes asap. There has never been an issue with other dogs, we have 2 small breeds that they are fine with, or with people. I have worked on basic commands with Hondo, he seems to enjoy getting things right. He loves to be scratched and loved on. It seems like he can feel your emotions. He can tell when I'm in a bad mood, he stays away, or when I'm sad, he wants to love on me. I am really going to miss this sweet guy but I hope y'all can help me find him the best home.

Story
We have had Blitz since he was a puppy. He is just over two years old. He is neutered and house trained. He likes to spend time both indoors and outdoors. He goes into his kennel easily when we leave the house. He loves to play fetch and be petted. He loves other dogs and plays well with them. We want to re-home him because we have realized that having a dog along with three children is just too much work at this stage of our lives.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Meet Rowan, age 2, the free-spirited pup who conquered a year in a shelter's outdoor kennel. Rowan loves to run, play, watch over you with his curious eyes, and savor every bone snack life has to offer. Rowan used to be the male temperament tester at the shelter he was pulled from. He is great with dogs of all sizes and cats. Rowan is in a home with young children and does great with them. He is very social and if left for long periods he will take matters into his own paws. Rowan LOVES stuffed toys. He sleeps with one in his crate every night. He does crate walking on a leash. His ideal home is an active household that would allow him to take part in their adventures. *All adoptable animals have been spayed/neutered, received age-appropriate vaccines, heartworm tested (when age-appropriate), microchipped, vet checked, dewormed, and kept on monthly preventatives while in our care. **All adoptables are listed as not housebroken. It is common for dogs/cats to have accidents when adjusting to a new home and schedule.
