Dorothy absolutely adores people and thrives on attention and affection. She’s an active, happy girl who would do best in a home where she can get regular exercise, consistent training, and positive social experiences once she’s had a little time to decompress. Because of her playful energy, Dorothy may be a bit too bouncy for homes with very young children or very senior family members. She does best as the only dog or with a calm, confident male companion who can help show her the ropes. While she’s been a good girl in her current home, she can be a little selective with other females. Story

Faith came from my neighbor, he rescued her off the euthanasia list the day she was set to be put to sleep. He is older and has not been able to adequately care for her. She is left outside in the heat 24/7 and not allowed inside. Because of this her paw pads have been burned and she has a cut on her paw, I have taken her in and have made sure she is out of the heat and safe and taken care of but I already have 4 dogs and a toddler of my own. Faith is a very gentle girl, she is house trained. Good with dogs with normal introductions, she is fed seperate as she does show some food aggression while in a kennel as she has not been fed on a daily basis while with my neighbor and is now adjusting. I am looking for someone that would love to give this girl the break she deserves and give her a good loving home.

Teddy is a gentle, soulful Beagle who arrived at the shelter with his brother (Jackson, a senior border collie mix) after their beloved owner sadly passed away. Through all the change and confusion, Teddy has remained incredibly sweet, affectionate, and trusting—he just wants a soft place to land and someone to love. Like many Beagles, Teddy follows his nose and appreciates a good snack… maybe a little too much. He’s currently packing some extra holiday weight, but with regular walks, portion control, and a family willing to help him slim down, he’s already on the path to a healthier life. He enjoys leisurely strolls, sniffing everything in sight, and then settling in for a nice nap. Teddy does well with other dogs (especially his brother) and would thrive in a home that understands the Beagle personality—curious, loyal, and very food-motivated.
