Story
Looking for a dog that wants to couch rot as much as you do? The one who takes Netflix and Chill literally, heavy on the chill? One who is always ready to binge watch every show and never judge your choices? Meet Sol. Sol is a 6 year old Shepherd mix, but she missed out on the memo that her breed is working dog. The only work she wants to do is walking from the bed to the couch. Sure, she'll accompany you outside, but her favorite hobby is napping. Sol is used to the mostly solo life (unfortunately, she has to share the bed with a cat) and needs a proper intro before she wants to let other creatures invade her personal space. Sol lives with teens but is seeking someone with the activity level of a sloth. Sol is fully housebroken, does fine without a crate, has completed heartworm treatment, and is ready to find her forever couch. Story
Demmit may not be the 1-pound teeny-tiny baby he came to us as anymore, but he still thinks he belongs in your arms! This 3.5-month-old mixed breed pup absolutely melts when you pick him up and gives the best snuggles and kisses. He loves his siblings, although he can definitely be a bit much! Demmit would do best in a home with another young, rambunctious dog who can keep up with him, but also isn't afraid to put him in his place and help him learn his manners. He adores children and wants to be the baby of the family, so older kids who can happily carry him around are his preference. He's working on potty training and already knows exactly what those potty pads are for! He's also curious about cats and, so far, has been respectful. He may not be pocket-sized anymore, but in his mind, he's still your baby-and he fully intends to be carried accordingly. Visit our website at legacyofhopedogrescue.us to fill out an application!
