Story
Ezra is is a 20 month old white bull terrier female. Got her in Kansas City. She has been a great dog. Likes going on walks and hikes. Rides well in the car. She has been raised with a male bull terrier. With no issues. Unfortunately she has nipped our new dog twice in 2 months, which is a small mini dachshund. Outside of that she has not had issues with aggression with other dogs. We are just unable to keep her at this time. I love this dog very much. I just wanted to go to a good home.

Story
Hey all, Ruthie here. I have been trying for such a long time to find my forever home. I really don't understand why I haven't. I think I'm around 3 yrs old so really a perfect age. My foster mom did this picture compare app on the computer and based on my picture, it said I'm some breed called a Entlebucher Mountain Dog! I don't know about that but it was kind of fun to see.  I'm already trained...ooh...let me tell you just how trained I am! I went to a place that had big walls and lots of people to meet and learned all kinds of commands. I think they called it Dick Conner Correctional Center and something called the STAR Inmate Training Program. I got so good that I didn't even need a leash with my trainer person, I just hung out with him all the time. It was so much fun! Even passed my test at the top of the class if I do say so myself! I was kind of sad when I left because I had so many friends there. My foster mom said that I am such a good girl that she doesn't understand why I haven't had tons of people wanting me. She said I am the most loyal, playful, people dog she has ever seen. That is true that I always want to be with my people, always! I love meeting new people and going places. According to my foster mom and the guys at the prison program, I have so many great qualities. The only thing that might be holding me back is that I need to be an only dog but let me explain why. I don't get angry with other dogs. I can go places and be around them. But I learned how to play super hard when I was young, maybe as a survival tool, and it's just too much for other dogs. I'm totally ok being with my people, in fact, I prefer it. I really would make someone a great companion dog. If you know of a person or family who might be my family, please tell them to go to my rescue's website and apply. Please? I want a home of my own....  www.carerescueok.org ##1550792##

Story
Hey everyone! Hoss is my name and snuggling is my game! More than anything else, I like being with my people. I actually know my birthday which is 1/27/22 because my mom had me and my sister at the house of this nice man who let her come in out of the cold. I’m pretty sure I’m an American Staffordshire Terrier and I’m told I have the softest coat! Right now I am on an adventure going through the STAR Inmate Training Program and I’m learning lots of new stuff! I’ll be graduating around the end of November and I hope I’ll have a new home with my forever family waiting for me! ##1551066##

Story
everyone meet DOUGIE!!! DOUGIE is a CARE - Compassionate Animal Rescue Efforts boy! He’s a pug/boxer mix, about 18 months old, and almost weighs 40 lbs. He’s an adorable boy with his little ET face and I just love him! DOUGIE is full of energy and would love to have an active family, possibly with children, that will include him in everything. He’s learning his manners but needs more work with the leash. He loves to play ball and run in the backyard smelling everything (he lived in an apartment his whole life, so running free in the backyard is a new adventure for him!). DOUGIE is so curious and he just wants to see and be a part of everything! And he can make me laugh with his silky antics So if you need laughter and an energy buddy in your life, come meet DOUGIE! He’s the best!  ##1791790##

Story
Rue, a beautiful 1 yr old Anatolian mix, is on the hunt for her forever home. She found a bestie at her foster home in the form of the family cat where they enjoy sunbeams together! She also gets along with all sizes of dogs and is really a gentle soul. Rue is housetrained and not a huge fan of crates though she will stay in one if needed. She would do best with an active family and a big yard to hang out with her peeps and maybe another dog! Our applications are at www.carerescueok.org if you are interested in meeting this sweet girl! ##1791806##
