Story
Meet Walter — Your New Best Friend (Again) Four-year-old Walter is back with us through no fault of his own, and he's ready for a second chance at forever. This sweet, affectionate boy is the perfect blend of playful and chill. He loves being near his people (and giving the best hugs), but he’s also happy to entertain himself nearby. Walter is fully potty trained, knows sit, down, and shake, and is crate trained too. He even stays calm and still for grooming — a true gentleman. Walter gets along great with dogs of all sizes and would do best in a home with kids 8+. He’s food-motivated, treat-loving, and people-centered — the kind of dog who just wants to be your sidekick. Adult dogs like Walter aren’t broken — they’ve just been let down. Let’s not let him down again. Walter is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and preventatives. His adoption fee is $175. Ready to bring Walter home? Send us a message or fill out an application today!

Story
Congratulations Joanie!! Joanie (Joan) has recently graduated from puppy training at Woodland University. Joanie majored in basic commands and minored in building confidence. While she’s made great progress, she’s still learning to fully trust new people and will need a patient family to continue helping her grow. As a Heeler mix, Joanie has the intelligence, loyalty, and drive typical of the breed—she thrives on activity and enjoys having a job to do. Whether it’s a game of fetch, a walk in the park, or learning new tricks, she’s always up for something engaging. Her confidence really shines through when other dogs are around and enjoys making new furry friends, though she may take a little longer to warm up to new people. Joan is spayed, up to date on shots, on preventatives and microchipped. Her fee is $200.
