Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Ada, OK *This dog doesn’t belong to ASF and hasn’t been evaluated by ASF.* Meet Lucky! He is an 9 month old Australian Shepherd and weighs 50 lbs. He is neutered, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Lucky hasn’t been tested around kids or cats. He is good with the other dogs inside of the home, but hasn’t been tested around dogs outside of the home. He is housebroken and crate-trained. Lucky’s mother previously belonged to the owner’s best friend, who passed away. The puppies were born after the friend passed away. The current owner is surrendering him because his littermates attack him. He needs to go ASAP! If you think you can provide a great home for Lucky, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Lucky. Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Depew, OK *This is a bonded pair, and they will need to be adopter together. They were originally found as strays, but their previous owner was never found. The current owner is surrendering them because he is unable to keep them. They need to go ASAP! Boyd (blue merle) is a 9-month-old Australian Shepherd mix puppy (the other breed is unknown) and weighs 36 lbs. He is neutered, up to date on shots and on heartworm prevention. Boyd is nervous around strangers! He hasn’t been tested around kids or cats. He doesn’t live with other dogs (except for Gurly) but is good with dogs outside of the home. He isn’t housebroken or crate trained. Gurly (brown and white) is a 9-month-old Australian Shepherd mix puppy (the other breed is unknown) and weighs 41 lbs. She is spayed, up to date on shots and on heartworm prevention. Gurly is nervous around strangers! She hasn’t been tested around kids or cats. She doesn’t live with other dogs (except for Boyd) but is good with dogs outside of the home. She isn’t housebroken or crate trained. I found Honey in a parking lot, she is very very sweet and well potty trained. She loves to play and just hang out. I have had her for over a year with no interest from anyone. I have a dog that does not like her and so I’m forced to keep her separate, which is no life for her.

Story

This is sweet Douglas, we got him from the local shelter when he was almost a year old, about 2 years ago. He has been a happy go lucky pooch since we have had him. Unfortunately we are having to move into my grandmothers house soon after she passes away, and Douglas is not able to come with us. We are looking for someone (or a family) that has the time to work with his energy. He loves to run and play in the backyard. He is a little timid with strangers at first, but once he warms up to you he wants nothing more than to play! After playing he loves to relax on the sofa or in his kennel. He is crate trained. We unfortunately have not been able to work on leash training with him yet. He has never been around children but i am certain he would not have a problem with them. He is indifferent towards cats and pays no mind to ours. He is such a love bug and would adore an owner that can play with him and give him all the attention he deserves.

This 2.5 year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix with the silkiest ears and sweetest soul is looking for his new best friend! Squeegee was rescued from the streets and we got him from the same rescue when he was 8 months old. This black-and-white cutie would like a home with a smaller dog companion or even being the only pup wouldn't hurt his feelings. Squeegee is affectionate, loyal, and will happily sit at your feet (or right beside you on the sofa) until he gets the love he deserves. He loves to play catch with his Kong ball and even enjoys watching TV. Squeegee is house and crate trained, neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped. He hasn't lived with cats or small humans but does fine with adults. He's got all the qualifications to be someone's new best friend and we want a loving and safe home for him.
