Story
CALABOGIE, ON - If you're looking for a dog who greets every day with enthusiasm, loves to make new friends and is always ready for the next adventure, Teddy may be your perfect match. Unfortunately, Teddy was too energetic, and possibly too smart, for his family. He was becoming anxious and they knew their home wasn't the right one for him and asked if we could help Teddy find the perfect home. How could we refuse - have you seen his cute face? Since arriving in foster care, he has settled beautifully into a predictable routine, and it's been wonderful to watch his confidence grow and his anxiety melt away. Teddy has shown us that when his needs are met, he is a loving, well-mannered companion who simply wants to be with his people.

Story
Thank you for your interest in Hubert. He is such a fun loving, energetic, happy, barky boy. He loves people and dogs and life. Some of it he loves a little too much. Well, not too much for him but too much for other dogs. But he is really just a softee who wants to run and play and be chased.

Story
Lionel’s life started in a loving home, but big changes left him without the stability he needed. His family circumstances changed and he (and his dog and cat siblings) found himself looking for a new home. At just four years old, Lionel found himself scared and unsure, suddenly needing to learn a whole new way of living. This big, goofy boy had grown up in a rural home without much exposure to strangers, new dogs, or busy environments. That lack of early socialization left him feeling overwhelmed when he first came into our care. But with patience, gentle handling, and the support of an experienced foster home, Lionel has begun to blossom. His true self—smart, affectionate, and just a little silly—shines brighter every day

Story
OTTAWA, ON - Thank you for your interest in Tundra. Some dogs arrive in rescue with simple stories. Tundra is not one of them. She is thoughtful, sensitive, expressive, and deeply devoted once she chooses her person. She is also a dog who has struggled in environments that moved too quickly for her comfort. Tundra feels the world intensely — and when she feels safe, she is incredibly sweet and loyal. She may not be the easiest dog — but she is an honest one. And in the right home, that honesty will blossom into something very special.
