Story
CALABOGIE, ON - Cinnamon is a three-year-old standard poodle who has been loved all his life. He lived with the same owner from the very beginning, but when his owner’s health took a serious downturn, and they were no longer able to walk him regularly or spend as much time with him as he deserved, they made the heartbreaking decision to surrender him to SPIN, as an act of love. We are so glad we could help this smart and affectionate boy as he searches for his next – and forever – family. Cinnamon is currently staying with a foster in Calabogie, Ontario, who also runs a daycare and boarding facility for dogs, giving Cinnamon the special opportunity to be surrounded by canine company every day while he waits for his new home

Story
CALABOGIE, ON - Some dogs come into rescue because they were never loved. That couldn't be further from the truth for Cannelle. Cannelle has been cherished her entire life. Her family invested countless hours into training her, gave her structure and truly wanted her to succeed. Unfortunately, despite their love and dedication, they came to the heartbreaking realization that their home—with young children—simply wasn't the right environment for her. Making the decision to surrender a beloved family member is never easy, but sometimes love means recognizing that someone else may be able to give your dog the life they need. Cannelle's family made that incredibly difficult decision because they wanted what was best for her. When Cannelle arrived in foster care, she quickly showed us the dog she truly is. She is affectionate, intelligent, beautifully trained, eager to learn and loves being with her people. She travels well, has excellent house manners, settles happily in her crate, enjoys puzzle toys and has all the makings of an incredible companion. Is she perfect? No. Like many dogs, Cannelle has challenges. She is fearful of other dogs, has some resource guarding behaviours and because of her history with children, she needs a home that understands and respects her boundaries. The wonderful news is that Cannelle doesn't need someone to "fix" her. She simply needs the right family.

Story
Hi I'm Striker! I've lived a good life with my brother, Jojo. However, I do very well on my own and can be adopted separate from my brother. I know I would have a great life with you, as you could provide me with lots of attention and adventures. As a more senior aged dog, I like to go on some little adventures still but also take a good nap after to recharge my batteries. I like spending time with my people too, of course! If you would like to meet me, I'm staying at 115 Woodcrest Dr in Pembroke. Give us a call at 613-635-7508 or email at renfrewcounty@ontariospca.ca. My adoption fee is $585. It includes my neuter, vaccinations, dewormer, microchip and much more! Primary Color: Tri Color Weight: 26.8 Age: 7yrs 0mths 2wks

Hi I'm Floyd! Look at me, I'm so handsome! My care team tells me I'm super smart and perceptive too. I am in search of a family to build a strong relationship with me and show me what forever love is. I am extremely food motivated and eager to learn once I'm comfortable. I require slow introductions to new environments, and people for best success because sometimes I get a little overwhelmed. Hi I'm Lewis! I'm sweet boy who needs a family who understands that I'm not the most confident guy. I require slow introductions to new environments, and people for best success because sometimes I get a little overwhelmed and scared. I have huge potential and have shown my care team that once there is some trust built, many more doors open. I am extremely food motivated and eager to learn once I'm comfortable. If you would like to meet me, I'm staying at 115 Woodcrest Dr in Pembroke. Give us a call at 613-635-7508 or email at renfrewcounty@ontariospca.ca. My adoption fee is $585.
