Hello! My name is Rebel and I am a special needs sweetie! Here’s the deal, I’m deaf but I kinda like it that way. See, I can pretend to ignore you until you give into my desires, like treats and toys and a long walk. I have lived with kids and other dogs and I share the space well, but really thinking a solo gig would suit me best. That doesn't mean I don't want friends; I love to play! A fenced in yard would be cool to wander around in when the weather is nice; and warm blankets or beds are a must on those cold winter days. I have become somewhat of a princess at the shelter. There is a little room here known as the snuggle room, and most days I like to just hang out and lounge around in that room. Volunteers come in throughout the day and take me for walks or hang out in "my princess room" with me. I am a petite Pittie with a princess size personality. I can be stubborn and have been known to slip out of my collar on a walk if I don't like the direction we are going. This girl knows what she wants! Even though I'm good at just laying around, I do need my exercise and attention, or I might just get creative with my space when I'm alone. Got room for me in your home and heart? I am sponsored by my new friend, Preston, and my adoption fee is only $75.

Story
Hello, I am Toby Keith. I am as awesome as my name. I started off as a very shy boy. I am a little bit skittish still, but I have come a long way. I am currently at the FIDO training program where I am learning all of my basic commands. On top of that, I can say my prayers and mic drop for special tricks. I can be very snuggly and don’t quite understand the issue of there not being enough room on the couch for me. That math just doesn’t quite math for me. If you want a charming and well-trained boy in your life, hit up the girls at HHS and come bust me out of prison.

Hey! Down here! Fine I'll jump up to you! Hi! I'm Koda! Too much? Sorry. I'll sit down and show you what a good boy I am. Starting over....Hi. I'm Koda and I reeeaaallly want to be your loyal companion. I get pretty excited when I see new people and new things, like toys and friends, but once I have a chance to check things out, I'm good. I am a super sweet and affectionate boy who just loves life! I am super toy motivated and can get a bit cray-cray when the squeaky sound hits my ears. A little bit of behavior training can be helpful in teaching me patience. The ladies here at the shelter have already begun with my training and I am now in the FIDO training program and I am learning quickly. I am ready to join your household and be your friend! I am really good with older kids and have also been tolerant of a cat. Littles just need to know my boundaries and my high toy motivation. Watcha think?? I am ready when you are!

Story
Howdy! My name is Rocky. I love to investigate the backyard but don't mind curling up on the floor when I'm tuckered out. Although plan on spending some time with me before the tuckered out part happens. I love to play with other dogs and sometimes can be a little annoying to them if they don't have my same energy level. I was adopted as a stray pup and have grown into the big boy the staff knew I would become. I'm all legs, baby! My family was unable to keep me, so I am looking for my next place to call home. Whoever that is, needs to be ready to accept all the love that will come their way and probably have some patience as I learn my new routine. I am currently in the FIDO training program to hone my skills and learn some new ones too! If you're looking for lots of love in the future, I'm your crazy boy!

Hello, my name is Nike. I am a big ol boy with the perfect amount of personality. I am a very strong boy…I never miss a chance to eat healthy or workout with my human. I do walk very nicely on a leash now, the good people of HHS have shown me how to be a true gentleman. I live for the fetch, it's my favorite workout activity. How is your throwing arm? I am very sweet and even more loyal. I used to live with kids, and could possibly again if it was the right fit. Mostly, I just want someone who loves to snuggle. If you got room in your place for a big ol thang like me, hit up the girls at HHS to meet!

They call me Myrtle the Turtle and I'm looking to crawl into your lap. I'm a sweet girl who LOVES LOVE LOVES belly rubs and BIG STUFFED TOYS I can drag around. I would love to have someone who would like to take some time to teach me some new things to help better my success in life. I'm not a fan of other dogs or cats, they are okay from a distance but I don't want to share my space with them. Basically, I prefer to be your one and only. I'd love to be a new addition to your adult only family. Call the staff and let them know you want to meet me!
