Story
Please direct your eyeballs (and your heart) to the absolutely precious Miss Emmy. This 2-year-old corgi mix is serving up premium black-and-white floof with a side of the sweetest little head tilts you’ve ever seen. The kind of head tilt that makes you immediately confess your secrets. The kind that says, “Tell me more about this treat you’re holding.” But let’s get something very clear. Emmy is entering her SINGLE ERA. Our girl has been a mama more than once, and she has officially clocked out of the babysitting business. She is pumped—PUMPED—to start her life as a carefree, independent lady who gets the love, the cuddles, and the spotlight all to herself. Would she be okay with another fluffy friend? Sure. Does she want to co-exist peacefully like a polite little queen? Absolutely. Is she interested in entertaining, supervising, refereeing, or running daycare? Hard no. Retirement looks good on her. Emmy is ready for a home where she can soak up affection, show off her adorable floof, perfect her head-tilt game, and finally enjoy the “me time” she deserves. If you’ve been looking for a sweet, snuggly, softly-floofed bestie who’s embracing her SINGLE life and loving it… Emmy is your girl.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Marge is a super sweet Cocker Spaniel in search of her forever family. She arrived to rescue with precious cargo on board and now that she’s raised her puppies and had her spay & dental, she’s ready to find her very own happy ending. Marge does have vision impairments but it really doesn’t hold her back at all. She can even jump up on furniture and navigate stairs on her own now. She loves to snuggle with her foster mom more than anything!   ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: Physically fenced in yard to keep her safe. Being a breeder release and having vision impairments on top of it, a secure fence is a must. Resident dog to help show her the ropes and boost her confidence. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.*All SFCR dogs are current on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella, and lepto), spayed/neutered (if at least 6 months of age), tested for heartworm & tick-borne diseases, receive dentals if needed, are started on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and microchipped. Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they generally require extra time to settle in and acclimate. Skills like house training, leash walking, and mastering stairs may require a little extra practice. However, with understanding, patience, and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly. February 26, 2026, 4:10 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Libby is a beautiful Cocker Spaniel in search of her forever family. She is so very sweet and incredibly smart. Saying she likes toys is an understatement - she LOVES them. One of her favorite things to do is to take every single toy out of the baskets and into her kennel. We call her the toy hoarder.  Libby is so curious about everything and loves to be right by side no matter what I’m doing. She loves exploring the backyard and is just as happy as can be.
