Story
This is Toby! He is such a sweet and affectionate dog! We found him a few months ago and I’ve guesstimated his birthday at January 28th, 2026. We have two other dogs that are girls and he loves them very much! He plays with them a lot and gets along with them well even when it comes to eating out of the same dish and such. He is so gentle around people of all ages too! We also have one cat. He has never hurt or even attempted to hurt her, but he does seem to be curious and ends up chasing her sometimes. He is truly a great dog! We have been working on housebreaking him and he has gotten better but still does have some accidents while I’m at work for 10 hours during the day. I’d like to rehome him because he deserves more love and attention than we can give him right now. And our two girls have unfortunately been pushed to the sidelines during this time. We’d really love to keep him, but we know it’s best for everybody if he finds a new home that will truly cherish him!

Story
Sweet as her name, our beautiful purebred female German Rottweiler is looking for her forever home due to an unexpected change in our family's financial situation. Born September 15, 2024, she is incredibly sweet, well-mannered, and has been raised around 6 cats, making her excellently socialized with other animals! She was originally purchased from a reputable, professional breeder, and we are happy to provide her official breeder details, lineage, and health records upon request. She needs a loving, responsible family who understands and appreciates the Rottweiler breed.

Story
Hi, my name is Bear. My dad says I’m somewhere between 7 and 11 years old, but I still don’t act like an old man other than snoozing most of the day. I weigh about 44 pounds, love going for walks, and if you throw a tennis ball, I’ll be your best friend. A little over seven months ago, I was found in the front porch when my dad bought his house in St Albans. Nobody is quite sure how long I had been on my own, but I decided this place looked pretty good and stuck around. Since then, I’ve learned what it’s like to have a warm bed, regular meals, daily walks, and someone who actually cares about me. I’m house trained, crate trained, ride well in the car, and generally just like being near my people. I get along well with most dogs and have done well around kids. Unfortunately, my dog brother Earl has just not been accepting of another male dog and our trainer suggested finding me a new home. My dad says he is willing to travel to help me find that furrever home!

Not good with cats,
Story
Nyla turned 1 year on April 27, 2026. My son brought her home as a puppy from his friends litter. Nyla is a product of "mom it's a cute puppy and I promise I will take care of it', scenario. Our household just cannot support an animal. She is not fixed, I don't believe she is current on her shots and she has some skin issue going on. Nyla really needs someone who has time for her and makes time for her. She is full of energy and just looks depressed all the time because she is alone. She is also not potty trained and that is a HUGE problem for me. I love this dog, she is beautiful, sweet and has such a desire to just be loved and paid attention to and she deserves that. I really hope someone reads this and feels the pull to take her in and provide her with everything she needs. I truly believe that she can be a remarkable pet with the right owner and household.

Story
This is Cow, she is a 12 year old red heeler. She’s been a great dog, she likes a calm quiet environment and tough toys that she can thrash around when she’s in the mood. She’s gotten a bit aggressive in her older age and no longer gets along with our other dog. We’ve had to keep them separated the last two years and it simply isn’t working anymore. She’s not aggressive towards people, but she will nip at small children if they are loud and annoying her. She would do best in a home with adults and older kids or just a single adult.

I rescued her from someone who didn’t know how to raise a dog and I have had her since April 4th 2025 and since then she has learned to sit, lay, shake, and balance a treat on her muzzle.
