Meet Leon the Lion, Leon is a BIG boy, a long boy, a sweet snuggly lover boy, and Primadona. He's very opinionated and has no problem telling you his mood. He LOVES to be in the room with is humans, and he is very good with kids. Leon suffered some kind of trauma or abuse in one of his last homes...he is very guarded with his tail and flanks. He's litter trained, fixed, doesn't spray, and has basic vaccinations, but I have no records. What Leon needs: someone patient and willing to help him work through his traumas hairball care to be solo cat - or with very friendly cats willing to accept him - rejection triggers his territorial nature to be indoors Why he is being rehomed: Our senior cat is very unwelcoming, and it is causing them both too much stress. What Leon gives: large biscuits with a side of drool sassy conversation endless snuggles - lap blanket recommended zoomies endless photo opportunities as he likes to sleep and spread out in funny positions

Moonie was left behind by one of the neighbors about 2 months ago. He’s a soft, healthy and well fed indoors cat. He loves cuddles and is very friendly! Sunny was adopted at the Salem Oregon Humane Society location by my brother, about 8 months ago. My brother passed suddenly last week, and his wife cannot care for 3 cats, nor afford 3 cats. She is keeping two others, mainly because the two have lived together much longer. Unfortunately, Sunny seems to be the odd man out in the trio. I would take him, but my landlady forbids cats. Sunny is such a lovable boy that I would be willing to get a different apartment that allowed cats, but we simply don't have time. My brother's wife and children are moving to an apartment she can afford at the end of December. So, we really hope Sunny finds a new, good home pronto. Sunny is an extremely affectionate cat. He may be a bit shy at first, but he will open up once he sees love. Please help us get Sunny a forever home.

Daphne is very people friendly. She meets strangers at the door. She loves food, and needs to lose a few pounds, so she needs to be on a diet. She was my mother’s cat and she indulged her with many treats! Daphne loves to play with wand toys and toys with catnip. She will bring you her favorite toy. Daphne loves to be brushed and combed. I usually comb her fur out once a day when I’m watching TV, so she won’t develop matts. It’s always better to stay ahead of that. Daphne will want to be your only cat. She wants to dominate other cats and will bully them. Not sure how she would be with a dog. I think she’d do well with children especially if they are gentle with her.
