Story
Hi! My name is Bella and I’m looking for my forever home. I’ve been the bestest kitty ever and my mom would agree. She’s really sad that she can’t keep me forever, but she knows I deserve a loving home where I’ll be played with and adored. She made sure I went to the vet every year for my shots and check ups, that I have a microchip in case I get lost, and that I was spayed so she could adopt me when I was a kitten three years ago. She says I’m a big girl because I’m 15 lbs, but all I hear is that I’m excellent cuddler and warmer. I love playing with kids, grown ups, and even doggies and other kitties. I just like to know that I’ll have my own litter box, scratcher, and space in your heart and home. I’ve always had another kitty roommate and wonder what it’s like to be the only kitty. I don’t need anything fancy, my favorite thing to play chase with is a string. I love to cuddle and will make you all the biscuits!

Story
**Curious - Busy - Affectionate** Poppy is a sweet, outgoing girl who will greet you at the door. She loves to explore her surroundings and find fun spots to rest. Poppy's ideal home is a place where she can be spoiled like the princess she is! She enjoys a little brushing here and there, some wand play (especially a peacock feather!), and getting attention from her humans. Although Poppy has lived with young kids before, she'll be happiest as the only kitty in a home with teens to adults, and she's isn't too fond of dogs or other cats. Poppy likes to settle in on a warm lap, warm computer, her heated bed, or a window ledge. Come and visit Poppy soon -- she looks forward to meeting you! Thanks to the Aleece Runge Fund for Senior Cats, Poppy will receive special pre-adoption medical screening and dental care; a take-home package that includes a heated bed and a month's supply of food and medication (if needed); and post-adoption financial support of up to $1,000 per year to help cover future veterinary expenses. My adoption fee is $150 Here's what you need to know about me:I'm a lovebug! I am very affectionate once I get to know you, I love pets and attention!I can be shy in new spaces. I need a family who will let me take things at my own pace as I learn about new things. Once I come out of my shell, I have lots of love to give.I have some handling sensitivity. That means I get very nervous about being picked up. My human friends at the shelter can tell you more!If there are kids in my new home, I need to meet them before going home, and prefer them to be older than 6. An adoption counselor can tell you more.I need to be adopted with my best friend, Twyla! Learn about Twyla here. A member of the adoption team can tell you more.
