Story
Hi! My name is Bella and I’m looking for my forever home. I’ve been the bestest kitty ever and my mom would agree. She’s really sad that she can’t keep me forever, but she knows I deserve a loving home where I’ll be played with and adored. She made sure I went to the vet every year for my shots and check ups, that I have a microchip in case I get lost, and that I was spayed so she could adopt me when I was a kitten three years ago. She says I’m a big girl because I’m 15 lbs, but all I hear is that I’m excellent cuddler and warmer. I love playing with kids, grown ups, and even doggies and other kitties. I just like to know that I’ll have my own litter box, scratcher, and space in your heart and home. I’ve always had another kitty roommate and wonder what it’s like to be the only kitty. I don’t need anything fancy, my favorite thing to play chase with is a string. I love to cuddle and will make you all the biscuits!

Story
**Lush - Mighty - Purr Machine** Matilda has been the perfect foster kitty. Full-body pets are the way to her heart, and she'll even let you pet her tummy, once she feels comfortable with you. Playing with the feather wand toy is great fun, but she is pretty chill and also loves just hanging out and listening to music. She has impeccable litter box habits and loves using her vertical scratching posts. She can be shy at first with new people, but warms up quickly with some sweet soft eyes and head butts. When she is tired out, she is happy snuggled up next to you for a nap. Matilda is not a fan of other felines, so she asks that she's your one and only. She did growl when she heard a dog bark in her foster home, so she may not appreciate sharing a home with a loud and active dog. To learn more about Matilda, check out @catkittenfosterpdx on Instagram. (JL 02/24) Matilda's adoption fee is $150. Story
Grimmie is a 1.5-year old sweetheart of a young male.  Longer hair coat, mostly solid gray with a few stripes on his tail.  He loves to interact with people, even children, and is an easy pet to love.  Laser lights, balls that go ‘round in a track, feather toys are all favorites.   He will be fine in a family home with attention and will probably accept a younger playful cat that is also outgoing.  Being your one-and-only will be ok too as he has lived with his owner as a singleton.  She sadly had to surrender him due to very unexpected severe allergies.  He wanted to be on her lap, shoulders and sleep with her and it was just too much closeness for a person not used to an allergic reaction.  Saying goodbye was very hard for her.   Grimmie is eating dry and canned food and is an easy keeper.  He uses his litterbox faithfully and doesn’t make a mess.  No experience with dogs but with slow introduction and a dog that is willing to be a friend not an aggressor it should work out.  Children that know cats or are gentle and kind are a plus.  Indoor only.  $125 adoption fee.   For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the foster parent for follow-ups and meeting arrangement. Adoption fee Includes spay/neuter, microchip, worming and flea treatment, current vaccines, and negative FIV and FeLV test. Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 26, 2024, 9:31 pm

Story
Hello, My name is Cornelius. I am a special boy looking for some special people to help me live my best life. I came to OFOSA injured and incontinent from that injury. I have a limp but I am mobile and love to climb but do need to wear diapers. You can see me in some of my cute diapers in my pictures. I only have a stub left of my tail that might make me look even cuter, but I don't care, I can't feel it anyway. I love people and love playing. I don't like when people are trying to do something to me while I am trying to play and get pet, such as put on my diaper, bathe me, or trim my nails. But, I am doing great with getting distracted with a treat while getting my diaper put on. I am a very busy young man so as long as you give me enough playtime I will also sit next to you for a petting session. If you pet my head I will be your best friend. And I am a bit of a goofball so will make you laugh often. Do you like big cats? Perfect, I am about 13 pounds.Do you like to laugh? I can certainly make that happen. I am a goofball.Do you like cats with lots of fur? Great, I have very fluffy paws and a cute poof of hair on my tail as well as plenty of other soft, thick fur to pet.Do you hate cleaning litter boxes? Well, I don't need one. You will have to change my diapers though.Do you like to dress up cats? Since I wear diapers, you can get my washable diapers is so many different colors and designs.Cats: Yes, but I kinda bug other cats sometimes, so looking for young playful cats like me to live with.Dogs: Probably notKids: Older or adult onlySpecial: Incontinent. Wears diapers when free roaming. Has a slight limp but very mobile. Needs regular sanitary trims of groin area due to long fur and being incontinent.

Cats: YesDogs: unsure Kids: older or adult onlyMedical: She has pillow paw (aka Feline plasma cell pododermatitis (PCP)), so she may need medication when she has flair ups, they can also go to remission after treatment and can be fine for a long time. The cause of PCP is somewhat unknown and there may be an allergy component that can cause the swelling.
