Story
Meow!! I'm a high energy, hyper friendly cat named Nala! I'm talkative and I love attention! I'm super fluffy but I currently am missing my fur pants since it seems like I'm allergic to some foods and will overgroom myself. I'm on a hypoallergenic diet and that is seeming to help. A cat in my previous home was picking on me and here in the shelter it looks like I really don't want to share space with cats. I would love to be your one and only sweetheart! I can get overstimulated if I see other cats or get stressed so a home with very young children would not be best for me. My foster mom reports I love to cuddle and I am a lap sitter! I'm a magnet cat. I like to sleep on her pillow by her head at night.I love feather toys and I have a lot of energy. I'm not very mischievous and I leave house plants alone. I like perching high and watching out windows.I'm in a foster home so if you woudl like to meet me please fill out an adoption application at www.animalaidpdx.org.My estimated birthdate is 4/1/2021.

Story
I adopted Chaz and his brother Nick back in 2016. I am the sole owner of both cats. The lone reason I am rehoming both boys is that my health is declining due to a worsening chronic condition. I am seeking someone who wants to adopt one or both boys to add equal measures of love and high spirits to their home. Chaz is a love bug. He will soak up all the attention you provide him. Chaz’s favorite toy is “Da Bird” and he lets you know that it is play time by seeking out the closet where I store it. That said, any object that should find its way to the floor will become his “new favorite.” Chaz is still frisky and dynamic like a kitten. Yet when my nephews visit me, Chaz likes sitting on the youngest’s lap as the two play video games. He is happy being in the middle of all the things. Please consider taking them both because they bring out the best in each other.

I am seeking someone who wants to adopt one or both boys to add equal measures of love and high spirits to their home. Nick is sly, aloof and on the hunt for his next bit of entertainment. His definition of "entertainment" may be a little peculiar for a feline: This is a cat who likes to sit in the kitchen sink. Nick has a cat lounger in my home office and is quite content to spend his days lazing about will I work to support his lifestyle. Nonetheless, he will seek out attention and purrs like a Mack truck. He has pretensions of being a lap cat at 18 pounds, so there is no need for a weighted blanket. He's a big mush otherwise. Please consider taking them both because they bring out the best in each other.

Story
This beautiful boy was part of a stray litter born across the street from me. Unfortunately, most of the kittens disappeared but Oscar stayed. He is around a year old. I do not have enough room in my house for Oscar but I really want him to find a good loving home. Oscar has a very calm demeanor, he is tame and mostly likes to relax. Although he has lived outside most of his life he is nothing short of the perfect lap cat. He will follow you around just trying to hangout with you and will cuddle/ take pets at any given chance. He loves to have his belly rubbed. Oscar would thrive as an indoor-outdoor cat. Oscar loves feline companions but is content on his own. He is friendly to everyone, including children. As Oscar has lived a rough life he may need additional litter box training but he is very adaptable.

Story
Isabel was adopted from the Humane Society as a kitten and rehomed at ten years to me. She has been a very sweet and loving cat in the three years I’ve had her. She likes to cuddle at night or sit beside me on the couch when I’m being quiet.  She was initially shy and reserved but has become less so as time goes on. On occasion she she avoids the litter box which I think is due to being in a household with two other cats. I’m using a pheromone diffuser and she seems to be responding to that. I took her to the vet and she doesn’t have a medical problem. If you have a quiet home where she could be queen and your one-and-only special lady then she would be happier. This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the owner for follow-ups and meeting arrangement.  Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 4, 2024, 2:37 am
