Story
Francesca is a stunning 2-year-old domestic longhair who was adopted from the Humane Society as a kitten. She’s fully up to date on vaccinations and just had her annual vet checkup a couple months ago. Francesca is the life of the party — very chatty and loves to “talk” with her humans. She currently lives in a quiet home with no kids or other pets. She has briefly been around dogs but not extensively. She is strictly an indoor cat. She may be shy when first meeting new people and needs a little time to warm up, but once she trusts you she becomes incredibly affectionate. She loves to lay beside you, enjoys belly rubs, sleeps next to you at night, and will happily follow you around the house. She isn’t very food-motivated, but she absolutely loves toys and climbing. Francesca is a loyal, loving companion who thrives on attention and companionship. Due to a change in work/life balance, I can no longer give her the time she deserves, and I’m hoping to find a home where she’ll receive plenty of love and interaction. Francesca lives iin Portland with her owner and her rehoming fee is $100.  She is an indoor only cat.   For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the foster parent for follow-ups and meeting arrangement. Adoption fee Includes spay/neuter, microchip, worming and flea treatment, current vaccines, and negative FIV and FeLV test. Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 5, 2026, 3:36 pm

Story
Winston is a gentle giant who lives to be pet. At the first sign of an extended hand you'll hear him purring like an idling engine and can always go for an ear scratching. Winston enjoys cuddling, chittering at birds and playing with aerial toys so he can stalk and jump high in the air and Winston's perfect home is one without any other pets, so he can be the center of attention.   A home with toddlers/young children is not ideal for him as he thrives in a calming and relaxed environment, though we can't say what age kids may work, children with pet experience that are old enough to respect his personal space and gently pet him and scratch his ears should be ideal.  Winston is indoor only and he lives in Portland with his family.  His rehoming fee is $40.   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Story
Whisper is a sweet and gentle mama cat who is a soothing presence in the home. She and her daughter Maple are looking for a forever home together. Her sweetness is evident from the start, even though she is shy and will need some time to warm up. Don’t let her grumpy face fool you, she is a tender-hearted girl who loves getting brushed and petted. She can be interested in playing with a wand toy, but often her daughter Maple takes over play, although they do also often take turns. She is a seasoned cat who knows how to cat-she scratches on the cat tree, uses the litter box faithfully, doesn`t try to eat human food and doesn`t jump on counters. She likes a routine, but can also adapt to changes. Whisper would do best in a calm home where she can receive regular brushes and pets. She would love a cat tree with a cubby she can hang out in. Whisper needs to be adopted with her daughter, Maple.

Story
Odie is a sweet, curious, and social boy who always greets his foster mom at the door. He will give nose boops while soaking up all the pets he can get. He likes lasers, mouse toys, and playing chase with his sisters but usually comes back to just relax with you after a few minutes. Odie loves to follow along and watch his human doing their daily things. He will supervise your work and give head boops approvingly. He (and all his siblings) have the floofiest tails and Odie has big paws and some little facial hair tufts that make him quite distinguished looking. He is medium energy for such a young cat and has played well with his foster mom and siblings. He is more about the attention than anything. He loves to roll on his back and get belly scratches or cuddle up for a nap with his siblings or sometimes in the sink by himself. Please come meet Odie today!
