Story
Meet Stella – The Confident & Curious Beauty! Stella is a gorgeous long-haired black cat with an independent spirit and a signature trait—her ever-wagging tail. Like a cuckoo clock, it moves with perfect rhythm, swaying as she explores, twitches when she’s curious, and flicks when she’s feeling playful. It’s almost like her own little way of communicating! Though she enjoys her space, Stella won’t say no to a good chin scratch. She currently lives with other cats and could join a feline-friendly home, but she’s just as content being the queen of her own castle. Whether in a house or an apartment, she carries herself with confidence and a touch of mystery. If you’re looking for a cat with elegance, independence, and a tail that tells a story, Stella is ready to make your home her own! Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 14,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.facebook.com/ThreeLittlePittiesRescueSavingKitties/ https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. Story
I'm the petite and gentle Parvati! I'm about 6 lbs of purring fluff. I'm shy at first because I had a rough time of life before coming here. I was rescued by someone helping a neighbor rehome their 10 cats they couldn't take care of. I was very skinny and limping. It turned out I had a few little extra toes on my front paws and the nails were curled all the way into my toe pads. I also had a condition called stomatitis where I was allergic to my own teeth. I was in a lot of pain in my mouth and my glands were very swollen. I had all my teeth removed and I feel so much better! I've put on some weight and I'm starting to come out of my shell. I like to play with little spring toys and I do well with other cats who don't pick on me. I would not do well with small children and maybe not with dogs. My estimated birthdate is 4/1/2024.

Story
She is a special needs baby. I got her from an abusive situation and she would do best in a home with a single female and no other pets. She is a nervous nelly but with some patience is the biggest snuggle bug, i had gotten a kitten a few months ago and they did stellar together. After a recent move she made a complete 180 turn and has been hissing and attacking him, leading to the need for separation. She is no longer happy in the home and i cannot in good conscience keep her knowing that. I love her more than anything and this was not a decision taken lightly. I need for her to go somewhere that she will be loved, babied and cared for the way i have tried to the last year. I have been a wreck since making this decision and it would help alot to know that where she goes will be her forever home.

Story
Tywin is a sweet, loving cat. He is a people cat and truly loves his humans. While he is a little weary around dogs, once he has acclimated to them he is just fine. We got Tywin in 2013, he is now thirteen years old. His birthday is early April. Tywin is a cuddly, affectionate guy, though he can show some sass. While he is very much litter box trained, he has had hyperthyroidism that we’ve been treating the last year or so that can result in him finding alternate places to express his discomforts. We just got the radio-iodine treatment that should reduce his dependency on medicine, but we are only two months out from that, so he will need to have a checkup blood test every so often. Will growl during nail grooming. Comes with litter boxes, cat tree, extras. We are expecting in November and due to a series of events are unfortunately unable to give Tywin the level of care and love he deserves. Happy to answer further questions and looking to find him a good home soon.

Story
We took Gem in after he wandered into our lives and no owner could be found. However, we're both facing intense financial hardship and can't meet his basic needs. Gem is a sweet, affectionate, and easygoing cat who recently developed pain, swelling, and pus in one of his paws, along with a few small facial wounds. The vet suspects a paw infection and possibly ringworm, but we couldn't afford the full diagnostics or treatment. He is being treated with antibiotics and a one-month flea topical (administered 7/16) that will need monthly reapplication. A real trooper, Gem remains calm, smart, and gentle. He tolerates handling well and even walks into the carrier on his own. He's very vocal and will greet you at the door. He's playful, polite, loves to be near his people, and often wants to cuddle when his humans are in bed. He's endlessly patient, easy to redirect, astonishingly chill, and lovingly social. If you can help him, please reach out. We want him to have the home he deserves.

Story
Beatrix was found as a stray kitten in 2019, so is assumed to be 5/6 years old. She is a very gentle, petite little girl at only 8 lbs. She is very easy-going, preferring to snuggle or sunbathe most of the day. She also enjoys sitting out on the porch when allowed. She has never been aggressive towards people or animals, but she does seem to have anxiety about being around too many other pets. She currently lives in a house of 6 cats, which has cause over-grooming and marking behaviors. She also lost her best friend, Ed the rabbit, which has caused further anxiety. Although she is a VERY sweet girl, I feel guilty keeping her in an environment that causes her so much stress. She would be perfect as an only cat, or having a single companion, in a quiet environment. Besides the stress behavior, she has never been aggressive or destructive.
