Story
Hello, My name is Cornelius. I am a special boy looking for some special people to help me live my best life. I came to OFOSA injured and incontinent from that injury. I have a limp but I am mobile and love to climb but do need to wear diapers. You can see me in some of my cute diapers in my pictures. I only have a stub left of my tail that might make me look even cuter, but I don't care, I can't feel it anyway. I love people and love playing. I don't like when people are trying to do something to me while I am trying to play and get pet, such as put on my diaper, bathe me, or trim my nails. But, I am doing great with getting distracted with a treat while getting my diaper put on. I am a very busy young man so as long as you give me enough playtime I will also sit next to you for a petting session. If you pet my head I will be your best friend. And I am a bit of a goofball so will make you laugh often. Do you like big cats? Perfect, I am about 13 pounds.Do you like to laugh? I can certainly make that happen. I am a goofball.Do you like cats with lots of fur? Great, I have very fluffy paws and a cute poof of hair on my tail as well as plenty of other soft, thick fur to pet.Do you hate cleaning litter boxes? Well, I don't need one. You will have to change my diapers though.Do you like to dress up cats? Since I wear diapers, you can get my washable diapers is so many different colors and designs.Cats: Yes, but I kinda bug other cats sometimes, so looking for young playful cats like me to live with.Dogs: Probably notKids: Older or adult onlySpecial: Incontinent. Wears diapers when free roaming. Has a slight limp but very mobile. Needs regular sanitary trims of groin area due to long fur and being incontinent.

Story
This is sweet Truffles. She a 1-2 yr old - fluffy beautiful girl. She has come out of her shell so much in the 4 months we have cared for her. She LOVES attention and affection. Loves to be brushed and rolls over so we can scratch her belly. She's not a huge fan of being picked up yet but longs to be near people. She would probably love a playmate cat but could be solo also. She is not afraid of our dog. Do you have room in your heart for this big beautiful love??Cats: YesDogs: unsure Kids: older or adult onlyMedical: She has pillow paw (aka Feline plasma cell pododermatitis (PCP)), so she may need medication when she has flair ups, they can also go to remission after treatment and can be fine for a long time. The cause of PCP is somewhat unknown and there may be an allergy component that can cause the swelling.

Story
Bella is an indoor-only cat that loves to be the only animal in the house. She has "guard dog" energy and will growl or pounce at any suspicious movements or noises coming from outside. With her humans she is a pussy-cat. This great cat loves to chew on things you leave laying around like small cables and cardboard and she is a foodie so don't leave edibles on the counter!   Bella loves to play with her buzzing mouse toys and laser pointers. She does alright with kids as long as they're not too rough with her but being your one and only will be her Happy Place. She loves to be held and pet, and even enjoys gentle belly rubs. This sweetheart lives in Beaverton and she is Indoor only! Rehoming fee is $150.   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Story
Samosa was born outside during the pandemic, she had 3 kittens. Samosa is needy and cuddly but slow to trust, so I kept just her. I live in a tiny studio apartment and want to find her somewhere to have more space. She’s indoor only and terrified of being outside but I’d be thrilled if she had a catio in her life. She is not aggressive, just timid with new people. She likes flipping water dishes over, but otherwise sweet and easy to care for. Talkative. Indoor only, $50 rehoming fee. Samosa lives in Portland.   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Story
Chase is a very loyal boy who loves to be around his people. He loves to sit next to us, but does not get on furniture if you tell him "no-no." He likes to play and wants more interaction than we can give him. He is very vocal and likes us to have conversations with him. He belonged to our son, who married a woman who is allergic and moved away. With 4 kids in another state we are often gone 5+ days at a time and Chase has a stranger come feed him and is alone almost 24 hours a day for several days. He is not destructive, even while alone. He has become nervous around other people due to our frequent absences. He used to have two cats who lived with him. He needs a home where someone will be very patient to allow him to adapt at his own pace and is willing to ignore him a bit until Chase decides it's time to be friends. He has only been indoors. He will be traumatized by transport, but will recover. Great companion for someone/couple who has time and love to give.

Story
My female cat got pregnant and Arthur if one of her kittens. He was borth on the forth of July! Last year 2023. So he's not quite a year old yet. He's a very sweet and loving cat. He's good with his siblings and our dog. It might take him time to get used to other animals though because when he was a kitten he wasn't fond of our dog. I'm very sad to not be able to keep him because I love him dearly but I don't have the money or the room to keep him. He's a sweet boy please consider! I haven't taken him to a vet yet. I haven't had the time or money to. Thanks!

Story
Yeti (m) and Yoda (f), bonded brother-sister pair, were semi feral before coming here. They are now timid with strangers but once they get used to you, they are now super easy going, playful, and outgoing! Yeti loves attacking hands (we're working on that) and Yoda chips and drops to the floor in front of me, rolling on her back for attention. Both are long-hair and will likely need daily brushing. These kitties would do best in a home without kids. Story
We are Fuji and Pike! We were recently rescued from an animal hoarding situation. We are very loving, and we warm up very quickly. We enjoy the company of other cats, and would do fine around cat friendly kiddos. We are young and spunky, but at the same time we can be the biggest couch potatos. We enjoy a good cuddle in our cat tree, and will never turn down a nice lap to sit on. If you would like to meet us, you can go to FurryFriendsWA.org and click 'adopt' to fill out an application! ##2017690##

Story
We have a bonded pair of cats, we rescued them from the shelter back in 2018, at the time of their adoption we were told that they were around 3-4. So we have rounded up and believe them to be about 9-10 now. As I’ve stated the were adopted as a bonded pair and we would love them to be rehomed as a bonded pair also. They are a make and female, one male long hair Maine Coone and one female short hair, named Minnie and Mickey. We have one hypoallergenic standard poodle, and two children with adhd and autism so they are use to one calm dog and two rambunctious children and they are very much lap cats. They wait to hear the sound of the recliners open and come running for lap naps and cuddles. They are the epitome of fat house cats. They are spayed and neutered.  We do not make the decision to rehome our cats as an easy way out, it’s actually quite the opposite. Our youngest daughter has developed severe allergies to them. She sees an allergist on a regular basis, we have her on daily doses of 2 different allergy medications as well as two inhalers, but her allergies to the cats are progressively getting worse and worse, we have even tried the cat food that is supposed to reduce the allergens that humans can be affected by. We even moved jobs and homes from Washington to Oregon in an effort to reduce our daughters seasonal allergens, hoping it would give her an immunity boost to fight the allergies to the cats, however it has not helped. We have truly exhausted all efforts but have no options left.  We have a local shelter called Safe Haven, we were waitlisted by them twice, and cancelled the morning of our surrender appointments because we physically and emotionally just couldn’t bring ourselves to take them to a shelter, even one with staff as awesome as they are! We just didn’t have the heart to do it.  Minnie is our short hair. She is very much the queen of the house and knows it! She is not afraid to remind the dog that she is in charge around here. She can be timid around strangers at first but warms up quickly and is eager to explore, but she is always the first to jump on a lap, and demand pets as she falls asleep. Mickey is our long hair, he can be quite timid also especially around quick moving dogs and children but once he warms up, he is not shy to come and ask for pets, while he won’t climb onto a lap, he will definitely climb all over you while you’re sleeping and purr the night away. He just loves attention and pets! He is quick to find the warm nook of a bent knee in the middle of the night and make that his spot, and he is not shy to cuddle up to the dog either!  No matter how deep their sleep, they both come running at the sound of a shaking treat container!.  Rehoming fee is $150.  Indoor only!   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM.
