Story
Macha is the most loving sweet boy. He comes with a carrier and bed. He came from a home with young children and big dogs and other cats and was abused. He has issues with a litter box because kids and dogs would terrorize him when he was using it. He will use it as long as he's the only cat and theres nothing to spook him. He also will use a puppy pad. He has anxiety which causes asthma attacks. He doesn't bite or scratch or have any other issues. Its just the potty training that really needs work. The asthma is fine as long as his world is calm. He needs a calm loving home. No other animals or young children. Just him and his person. He is a big lump that loves to cuddle and would do well in a quiet home with a person who has a lot of love and patience.

Story
Chloe is friendly and affectionate and needs to be the only cat in the household. She is an indoor cat and has never been outside. Chloe is 2 yrs old, born August 29, 2021. She makes friends with everyone who visits. She knows what the word bedtime means and loves chasing a laser light. She loves being brushed and having her belly & back rubbed. Chloe is well behaved, doesn’t scratch the furniture and has never had an accident, always uses the litter box. She’s talkative and has a sweet high pitched sound she often makes as if she’s asking a question. She’s definitely a lap cat, always wanting to be as near as she can to you.She is sweet when not around other cats. She’s never been around dogs.

Story
Fiona is a sweet 13 year old cat who needs a forever home. She needs an environment where she can relax in the rays of the sun all day or curl up under your blanket. She loves cuddling on the couch and telling you when she’s hungry. I think she’d be perfect for an older woman.

Story
Mogley is an adorable brown fluffy domestic long-haired cat ( I have always called her my little bear cub). I have had her and her sister cat (Zoey, from the same litter and also on here) since they were kittens. I would love to keep them together, but I know it's probably not realistic. Mogley is calm, independent, shy, and affectionate. She loves sitting on laps and getting pets (especially around head area). It does take her a little time to trust someone, but she is very affectionate once she does!

Story
Zoey is an adorable soft long-haired cat. I have had her and her sister cat (Mogley, from the same litter and also on here) since they were kittens. I would love to keep them together, but I know it's probably not realistic. Zoey is very friendly, loving, and affectionate. She always wants to cuddle. A great lap cat! I would say she is a dominant cat. Though she has lived along with her sister cat, she is also always the one to start hissing. They do cuddle together sometimes though. She is older, so her playful days aren't as common. She does play here and there though. She enjoys catnip toys and scratch pads.

Good with kids, Good with cats, Needs special attention, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Like his hobbit namesake, Merry is highly sociable, sweet-natured, seemingly optimistic despite having seen more of the world and its cruelty than he might have liked, and is very much motivated by food. He is estimated to be 1 - 3 years old. He would love to be in a home with people and/or cats who have time to hang out with him. He is the sort of cat who will meow for you when he is alone and bored and who will start to purr as soon as you sit next to him.   Merry would like nothing better than to sit next to you while looking out the window and occasionally receiving some pets on the head. He is FIV+, so he should be an indoor-only cat, and if there are other cats in the home it would be best if they were also FIV+ although FIV is not transferred by grooming, sharing dishes and litter boxes and with normal care and good food he will live a normal life.    Merry was recently rescued from homelessness and the snow and is working on litter box training. He is currently living with elementary-aged children and is highly affectionate with them. We have not seen him around younger children, but he is so people-oriented and so mellow that we suspect he'd be great with younger children too.  Merry's rehoming fee is $50.   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the owner for follow-ups and meeting arrangement.  Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 29, 2024, 9:10 pm
