Reggie was surrendered with his friend Catty.  He is BIG love bug with a fluffy tail and would like to be adopted with his friend Catty so they can stay together forever!  He comes from a home with older kids so should acclimate to any environment.  He can be a little cautious when meeting new friends, but ultimately loves the attention.Interested in one of our cats/dogs? Story
VERY TALKATIVE FELLOW LOVES BEING AROUND PEOPLE AND SHOWING OFF A LITTLE SILLINESS. WILL DO BEST WITH GENTLE KIDS OVER 8 YRS. HAS BEEN FINE AROUND OLDER KITTENS, NOT TESTED WITH ADULT CATS. WILL NEED REGULAR BRUSHING.Don`t worry that I`m a little scruffy looking right now. I have been outside for a while and it shows. You`ll receive a free grooming session upon adoption to use after 12/18/25 to make me gorgeous and soft again! You`ll just need to brush me every few days after that as part of our petting routine. I love getting attention and following you around. I like sitting with you and laying at your feet. I`ll do a few cute silly things trying to get your attention, like squirming around in the floor when I know you`re watching. Of course, I`ll be talking to be sure I have your attention too. I often like staying busy, so I like to explore and find things to do. I`ll love having a window perch and a cat tree by a window to chatter at birds and watch for squirrels. You want to put blankets on the furniture for lounging, and a big mat on the floor for stretching way out and sleeping. I haven`t shown interest in toys yet, but it would really help to keep me busy if you would help me learn to play. Start with our wand toy, slow across the floor, then fast to fly around to get me going. Bounce a ball across the floor and leave my little toys around to play with when I get bored. One of the motion activated toys like they have here from Amazon will keep me busy when I settle in and want something to do. The toy moving under a sheet with a fluttering butterfly on top is most popular. I`ll be right at your side or, forgive me, jumping on the counter when I hear a can pop open! I love canned food, but don`t let me talk to you into giving me too much! I`m fine with dry food left out and drink plenty of water. I know what shaking treats means, and I will do anything, or go anywhere to get treats, so it`s a good way to train me! I will even take them from you if you hold out one at a time! I`ll be a little excited at first, but will mellow out some as I settle in. I`m sure to be a devoted and loyal buddy and companion offering lots of love to all my favorite people!

Story
Beautiful like the sunrise and sunset, rising and falling at the start and end of the day. Skye, yes, Skye, that is my name! I am not shy to say that I am one GORGEOUS girl. I mean, just look at me. It is surely not a lie. With my fluffy brown and white fur, tuffed ears, and puffy tail, how not to see me as the kitty of the ball? I also have a bit of a unique look in one of my eyes. I have what is called Iris Melanosis. This is where the iris of my eye has become pigmented. Currently, there are no worries about it, however, my future family will need to keep it monitored by their vet. Other than my looks, I am also quite the sweetheart too! Well, that’s what my caretakers say! I love attention, and though I am not a fan of being picked up, I sure do love being surrounded by love. I am just unsure of being picked up off from the ground that I am used to standing on. I guess you could also say I am a special girl. Due to my age, I do have some needs that my new family will need to understand. I am hard of hearing and have the start of CKD (Chronic Kidney Disease). However, besides these, I am otherwise very healthy. Just a supplement diet to help with my kidney levels and patience for my hearing, and I am a happy camper. I will say, I do better in low-energy environments. Though I cannot hear well, I sense energy when it is in my bubble. Sometimes, this energy can become too much. This means that I prefer to be in a home with no other animals and no children. I would much rather just share my space with my pet parents than anyone else. I have had quite a crazy year thus far. I lived in a home my whole life, with a wonderful family; however, sadly, at the age of 12 years old, I lost my only family and have had to make a new one along the way. The caretakers at The Charming Cat Corner have definitely filled the role of my new family. Though it is temporary, and I love my caretakers, I am ready to find a new family, one that can give me the best home to spend my golden years in! Are you looking for a beautiful princess to have as a friend? A kitty to wait patiently for your attention? If so, don't look too far because I may just be the gal for you!

Story
My name is Tiramisu and I’m originally from Donna, TX in the Rio Grande Valley. i have sparkly gold eyes, and tortoiseshell colored fur. I have the cutest orange patch of fur on top of my head. My foster mom tells me I’m the perfect colors for fall. I was a tiny baby and it took me a while to grow big enough to be considered for adoptions. I’m still small for my age but I have a big personality to make up for my demure size.I’m spunky, outgoing, playful, curious and sweet. Just being close to my foster mom makes me purr and make air biscuits. I play with anything that looks like a kitty toy. Water bottle lids are one of my favorite toys. I love to bat at them, watch them slide across the floor, and then run to catch up with them. I like sleeping next to my foster mom at night and love to be petted and brushed. I enjoy munching on kibble throughout the day but really love dinner time because my foster mom gives me delicious canned food. I cry and cry and cry until my foster mom gives me a big bowl of meaty morsels as soon as I hear her opening the can. I think that I sound like a big, ferocious kitty but everyone else thinks my meow sounds like a tiny kitten.I’m comfortable around adults, grade school age children (or older), other cats and a small dog. I’m fine with other pets as long as I’ve been properly introduced to them. I’d do well in a home with a playful young kitty who will be my friend. I can’t wait to find my furever home and hope you will come by the rescue on Saturdays to meet me in personIf you are interested in adopting please complete our online application: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=lv2236&method=online_form_html&formid=43Adoption Fee is $150.00All kittens are fully vetted prior to being adopted, FVRCP, FeLV and Rabies Vaccines, FeLV / FIV Tested, Spayed / Neutered and Microchipped

Story
Penny is a beautiful young cat who would love a home that will see her as just that and not just as a mom.She loves being a mother and is extremely patient with her 4 babies but she is too young for the responsibilities that she currently has. She has a big heart and isn’t afraid to purr and rub all over you but when it’s your time to show her love, she’s a little unsure on what to do. She is learning quick though! She has come such a long way in just 2 months so i am confident she is going to be a snuggly girl before we know it! In the meantime, she just needs someone who is willing to be patient with her while she figures out what having a home feels like. She is a playful girl but other than her own kittens, we are unsure if she does well with cats. She is not a fan of big dogs. If you are interested in adopting please complete our online application: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=lv2236&method=online_form_html&formid=43Adoption Fee is $100.00All kittens are fully vetted prior to being adopted, FVRCP, FeLV and Rabies Vaccines, FeLV / FIV Tested, Spayed / Neutered and Microchipped.
