Story
Tabbitha is an Orange Tabby cat approximately 6-8 years old with a long fluffy coat. She belonged to my family member who is elderly and can no longer live on her own. Tabby is spayed but not up to date on vaccinations. Tabby is a sweetheart who loves people and has been a loving companion. She is litter box trained and loves to play with her scratching/rolly toys. She has been the only pet and lived in a small senior apartment for her whole life so she might need time and patience in a new setting. I wish I could take her but that is not an option so I am trying to find her a good and loving new home.

Story
Super sweet male. He is a lover and loves to lick your cheek. Skittish around new people and environments at first. Then he really warms up. I found him in a field behind a church in Parkland. Searched for nearly 5 months for owner. I can't keep him. I have another cat and she's not having him. I'll be taking him to the Tacoma Humane Society this Sunday March 24, 2024.

Story
Nemo is a beautiful, orange, long-haired guy. He's very friendly and enjoys playing with toys and getting pet. He arrived at the shelter with another cat (Oreo #55612416) with whom he gets along well. He also lived with a large dog and did well with him, so he may be a great fit for a household with other pets. He hasn't had much exposure to children and can be startled by loud noises, so he'd appreciate slow introductions to tiny humans. Nemo will need regular brushing to keep his fur silky and mat-free. If he sounds like the cat you've always wanted, come meet him today! Our cat adoption fee is $70.They come spayed/neutered and microchipped. Story
Hello! My name is Aztec. I am a social cat and I get overstimulated. I am a ‘working cat' which means that I may not be suited for the life of a house cat, but I would love to have a job in exchange for care, food, and shelter. Adoption fees are waived for working cats like me! Do you need help with rodent control at your house, barn, garden, warehouse, or garage? Working cats are dependable, effective, and utterly cute workers! Working cats can be an eco-friendly, humane alternative to pest management. Working cats are premier rodent managers! Although not suited for housecat life, if you keep a working cat happy and healthy, they may become more affectionate over time. These cats need food, water, protection from the elements, and long-term care. You can come by the shelter or email frontdesk@auburnvalleyhs.org for more information about adopting a working cat.
