Story
Meet Summer! The adoption application can be found here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Summer is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, or locations along these routes. Summer is a tiny bundle of joy with a personality twice her size! Summer is already stealing hearts everywhere she goes. This playful little girl absolutely loves romping around with her siblings, turning every moment into an adventure. Summer brings nonstop energy to the room, but it's not all zoomies-Summer has a sweet, affectionate side too. After a long play session, she's more than happy to curl up nearby and recharge, soaking in the comfort of her favorite humans and furry friends. Summer would thrive in a home where she can have a playful companion and plenty of love, If you're looking for a kitten who will keep you smiling, laughing, and feeling loved every single day, Summer is your girl. She can be a shy girl at first but warms up when she feels comfortable. Summer is ~3 months old, spayed, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and in great health. She does a great job of keeping her litter box tidy. All she needs now is her forever home! She has a sister in the foster home as well named Skye. Priority will be given to applicants interested in adopting a pair of kittens, sibling or who have patient, playful resident cats or dogs at home. Information on why adopting two kittens together is best for their short- and long-term health and behavior can be found here: http://www.kittenlady.org/twokittens --- ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES: Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and transportation costs. Also, when you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you’re doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee sponsors a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you so much for your contribution to our efforts! Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Well hello there; my name is Renn and I`m looking for my forever home.I was surrendered to RASKC by my owners on March 27, 2026. In my previous home I got along with women and the teenagers in the home.I was very unhappy at the shelter & didn`t do well meeting people (I wouldn`t do it!) so I was sent to a foster home to decompress. After two weeks I decided to sniff and touch Foster Daddy`s hand, found he`d pet me, and I liked it! I now spend a lot of time petting and sitting on his lap, but I can get overstimulated so I will need a home with cat people who can deal with my ways, and can accept taking a long time before I`m comfortable enough to become friends. I need a room by myself to start, with food, water and litter. You`ll need to spend a lot of time just sitting in there where I can see you if I want to, and eventually I`ll likely come to sniff you. If you have the patience to wait me out, I expect to make a good house cat. But kids and maybe other animals are likely to scare me.I am a sweet cat who may need extra time and attention to warm up to new situations and new people. When I was a wee little one, I was not taught how nice and friendly people can be, but I am learning quickly! Though I may be timid at first, once you take the time to show me I can trust you I will show you just how wonderful I can be.I am a medium-haired cat which means I will require freqent grooming, please keep that in mind.I am currently in a foster home, please fill out a foster interest form if you would like a chance to meet me :)

Please read through the entire posting and requirements before applying via our questionnaire at https://ratcityrescue.com/adoptions Meet Umbreon! She is a sweet and friendly floof with a brave personality and adorable meow. She has an exceptionally soft black coat with some grey and rust undertones. Umbreon can be found most days climbing the highest cat tree, trying to kiss your face, and just simply being adorable. She will likely do well in a home as an only cat as she loves human attention and naps but could possibly do well with other cats with a proper and slow introduction. She is very affectionate so someone willing to give her lots of play time and snuggles is ideal. *She feels at ease in a quiet and calm environment. *She needs to live indoors only. Thank you for your interest in adopting Umbreon! As we are a small, volunteer run organization, we appreciate your patience in processing your application! Please only apply if you are within 50 miles of Seattle, WA. Thank you. If your household fits the above criteria, you can apply to adopt them by filling out this questionnaire: https://ratcityrescue.com/adoptions Please do not follow up on your application by phone or email as this will not expedite a response. As a 100% volunteer-run organization, we appreciate your understanding.

Story
She may be a princess, but this sweet little lady is not high maintenance!Princess is settling in at VIPP with her buddy, Precious, and these once scared little sweeties now feel safe and secure, and their personalities are shining through. Princess is the more timid of the two, but calm introductions are rewarded with rumbly purrs. She loves a head scratch and is a bit of a culinary mastermind. She makes biscuits in her blanket to show just how much she is enjoying the pets and attention being lavished upon her by VIPP volunteers.Princess requires a quiet, indoor-only home with her bff, Precious! These two gals bring out the best in each other and are just waiting to make your family complete. Please visit our website www.vipp.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.
