Not good with dogs, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
We have had Ava for 10 years. This is hard for us to consider as she has been such a good pet. We recently got a black lab, we kept them apart with a gate, her getting half of the house and him the other. We have tired multiple times to integrate them but she never seems to have much interest, no hissing or dramatics, but pees when we do so. Important to note prior to dog she never peed outside her box. With the failed attempts we feel she is just unhappy being confined to only a few rooms and honestly at this point so are we. We need to have full access to the house without gates, our dog now grown needs space. Ava is a calm cat, she takes some time to warm up and is very vocal. While she isn’t huge on snuggles she sleeps with us every night. She has been around a few small children, and while she likes to hide has never hissed or struck out when they approach her. But would probably do best in a quiet home with no kiddos, and no other pets.

Story
Hey there, I'm Tubbz! If you're in need of some serious cuddle therapy, then I'm your guy. At 11 years young and weighing a solid 13 pounds, I may not be a spring kitten anymore, but my heart is still filled with endless love to give. I may have a luxurious long coat, but don't let that fool you-I'm low maintenance and easygoing. Just a little brushing now and then to keep me looking dapper, and I'm good to go. I'm on the lookout for a new home where I can be showered with love and affection. If you're in need of a loyal companion who will stick by your side through thick and thin, then look no further. Swing by KHS and ask for Tubbz-I'll be waiting to steal your heart! Primary Color: Tabby Secondary Color: White Weight: 13.62 Age: 11yrs 0mths 0wks

Good with kids, Good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
She lived in a big house with a big family and frequent visitors as well as another cat for 7 years. Now, she's been living alone in a small studio with me. Due to my busy schedule, she craves more human interaction. She needs a nicer home where she'll get more space to play and the attention she deserves. She's super playful, loves toys, and unconditionally enjoys cuddling and pets. She'll even sleep by your side once she trusts you. My #1 goal is to adopt her to someone who would NEVER put her in a shelter (i.e. readopt her if something happens), so here are the problems: She is almost 10, so she's showing signs of age. She is long-haired and sheds a LOT; it WILL get everywhere. Due to her long hair, she occasionally gets poop stuck in her butt and can't reach to clean it herself because of all the fur. It's very localized but can be gross since she enjoys sleeping on the bed with you. Regular grooming or hygiene cleans are essential (for your sake, she is unaffected by it).
