Story
Hi! My name is Pinky and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by a good Samaritan on April 23rd, 2023.I am currently in a RASKC foster home and my foster parent thinks I am just the best! I LOVE being brushed and, in fact, I have a favorite brush that my foster parent will even send home with me! Speaking of things that I love, feather wand toys are my absolute favorite thing to play with. I can play hard for a good hour and then I am ready to settle down for some cuddles with my person. I enjoy being around people but can also be trusted home alone while my family is busy at work. I love life as an indoor only cat but if my new home has a catio for me to explore that would be awesome! I`m kind of the perfect boy if you ask me. My foster parent says I am also very smart and enjoy solving food puzzles! My caregivers have noticed that I do NOT seem to get along with other cats, so I will do best as the only cat in my new home. I also don`t seem to like little kids; I might be very loving, but I still have boundries I need respected. My personality color is GREEN. I am an adaptable cat who loves to go with the flow! I am outgoing and carefree, and I just can`t wait to find my forever home!Medical WaiverYour new pet received a basic physical exam, in addition to routine vaccines, deworming, and topical flea preventative, if indicated. Although your new pet is ready for adoption, there is always a possibility of additional medical conditions that have not been detected or may develop in the future. Current medical conditions are noted below.1) Feline Immunodeficiency Virus Infection (FIV)- FIV is a viral infection that is transmitted between cats usually through fighting. This is a lifelong infection with no cure. FIV cats can have shorter lifespans, however many of them can live many years in good health with proper management and care. Please refer to the information handout provided.

Story
Hi! My name is New Year and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by my previous owner on June 22, 2023 because I was not getting along with the other cats in the home, but I did live with dogs and got along with them!Although my time at RASKC hasn`t been the longest I`ve adjusted quite quickly.I am affectionate and love pets, but I am sensitive in the hind area which could be due to my age, so please move carefully with me and keep an eye out for signs that I might need a break.I am a independent lady who would love to find a home that is quiet and calm where I can live out the rest of my golden years :)My personality color is RED. I am a spirited cat with a fun-loving personality! I may be sensitive to handling, so I would do best in a home with a cat savvy family who knows when to give me some space.

Story
Hi! My name is Hunter and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by an Animal Control Officer on 9/13/24. I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home!I am an independent kitty who likes to do my own thing! I like getting attention on my own terms. I can get overstimulated with petting, so please move carefully with me and keep an eye out for signs that I might need a break.I am a sweet cat who may need extra time and attention to warm up to new situations and new people. When I was a wee little one, I was not taught how nice and friendly people can be, but I am learning quickly! Though I may be timid at first, once you take the time to show me I can trust you I will show you just how wonderful I can be.My personality color is RED. I am a spirited cat with a fun-loving personality! I may be sensitive to handling, so I would do best in a home with a cat savvy family who knows when to give me some space.

Story
We have had Dumpling since she was 5 months old. She is a beautiful, quiet, low maintenance pet. We have since gotten another cat and a dog and that has sadly put a lot of stress on her. She is definitely better to be the only pet in a household. She has long fur and therefore needs to be brushed frequently and she occasionally coughs up fur balls. She loves Hill Science Diet and occasional wet food. She is comfortable being left alone with plenty of food, water, and a clean litter box for a weekend at a time. She might not be the best pet for a household with children, but she has behaved when she has infrequently been around children in the past. The biggest issue for her is other pets and we unfortunately can't get rid of our two other animals.

Story
Originally found by the Seattle PD abandoned in a parking lot, covered in urine but with claw covers on which indicates they did have previous owners, I adopted them both from the Seattle Animal shelter. They were there under observation for a week before they were made available for adoption, but the shelter mixed them up in their paperwork multiple times so documentions I was given is a bit inconsistent. The one named Mercer has some severe neurological issues, he seems to struggle with vertigo, not using the litter box unless he is placed inside it, and needs some assistance eating. But both are 6 month old kittens that are highly affectionate and love to purr and take a nap in your arms. They really enjoy wand toys and bells, but spend more time sleeping than playing.
