Story
Hi, my name is Rosie and I would love to meet you. I have been at the shelter since Mar 29, 2024. I’m an attention seeking feline, and I’m not afraid to admit it! I use soft head butts or tiny meows as my go-to ways to receive pets. Getting lots of affection is what makes me happy, but I don’t just like to get the love, I like to give it too!

Story
Megalodon (Meg) is a 5 year old female Calico. She is a really beautiful cat. We have had to make the tough decision to rehome her because she is not doing well with our toddler and the new baby we just brought home. She needs a quiet, calm environment. She likes to be out in the action, doesn’t like to hide away, but loud toddlers moving at fast paces freak her out and force her to hide away. She is becoming increasingly stressed and developed a bladder infection due to stress (she’s healed now) but it’s all we can do to keep her calm in our not so calm home. We think the perfect family would be people without children and who don’t plan on having any anytime soon. She’s friendly but will let you know when she’s done being pet. She enjoys playing … a few cat toys (springs, fishing pole toys, things for her to chew on and kick should suffice).

Story
Hi! My name is Honda and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by an Animal Control Officer on April 30, 2024.I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home once I get to know you.Because of my shy nature, I would do best in a calm, quiet home. When I go to my new home it is important to be patient with me and allow me time to acclimate to my new environment at my own speed. It is best to keep me in a smaller, quiet room, with my food, bed, and litterbox until I am comfortable and confident enough to start exploring the rest of my home.I am a gentle and loving cat who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might need some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend!I am currently at an offsite location looking for my forever family! Adoptions at partner stores are coordinated on a `first-come, first-served` basis. It is recommended that you call the offsite location before going to the store in case the animal is in the process of being adopted or already adopted. Delays on the profile being removed from the website after adoption is to be expected.

Story
Hi! My name is Ruffles and I am available for adoption.I was brought in as a stray on May 12th, 2024, and then surrendered by my previous because they could no longer care for me.I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home!I like getting attention on my own terms. I can get overstimulated with petting, so please move carefully with me and keep an eye out for signs that I might need a break. My caregivers have noticed that I do not seem to get along with other cats, so I may do best as the only cat in my new home.I am a spirited cat with a fun-loving personality! I may be sensitive to handling, so I would do best in a home with a cat savvy family who knows when to give me some space.Your new pet received a basic physical exam, in addition to routine vaccines, deworming, and topical flea preventative, if indicated. Although your new pet is ready for adoption, there is always a possibility of additional medical conditions that have not been detected or may develop in the future. Current medical conditions are noted below.1) This cat tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). FIV can cause immunosuppression and susceptibility to other diseases. Symptoms are varied but may include fever, anorexia, weight loss, or stomatitis. Not all infected cats will become ill, and those that do may be healthy for weeks to years before illness. Cats infected with FIV will remain infected for life and can spread the virus to other cats, usually through bite wounds. For this reason, FIV cats should be kept indoors only, and should only be housed with FIV positive cats or in situations where risk of transmission is unlikely. Please consult with your regular veterinarian for additional information and a management plan for your new pet.Additional care for these conditions may be needed after adoption. Please follow up with your regular veterinarian.
