Story
Missy is the sweetest girl ever! She loves to cuddle at night and loves being around the people who are home, following her foster parent around from room to room. She loves her stringy and feather toys/sticks, walking them around the house and bringing them to her person for playtime. She can be shy at first but really just loves pets and being in the company of humans. After a few days in a new place, she was meowing for playtime with her toys and for attention, which was wonderful and she really seemed to open up more and you could see her personality shine. While she doesn’t love being held, she’s been a total cuddle bug at night time and loves to sleep right up against you in the bed, but still enjoys having her own half of the bed to herself! Simply put, she’s a very regal older lady who still has lots of energy and enjoys the company of others and time spent playing with her toys alongside her humans. Missy has lived with cats and dogs before, and might do okay if given a slow intro. Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. This will include reviewing all known medical and behavior information. The Seattle Animal Shelter is committed to reducing length of stay for all of our shelter pets!
