My name is Lucy and I love to sit on your lap or right beside you to keep you company. I'm almost 15 years old and I've always been a bit grouchy - but never mean. Now that I'm an old lady I'm extra grouchy to any cat friends but after I've gotten used to their company dogs are just fine with me. I have developed a hyperactive thyroid in my old age, but it has been managed well with medicine morning and night. My human says the medicine isn't very expensive, so it shouldn't be a burden. As long as I have a scratching post, I don't scratch the furniture. I use my litter box and even tolerate when it isn't too tidy, even though I prefer it to be clean. My only other quirk is that I never learned how to groom myself because my sister always took care of it. So since she's not here my human has to do the job or I get matted pretty fast. My human is really sad that I need a new home, but I just can't be nice to the other cat's in the home.

Nigel is a wonderful and super smart kitty. He needs access to the outdoors because he really enjoys being outside and likes to go to the bathroom outside. He will let you know like a dog. He’s very doglike. He is talkative and affectionate but doesn’t like to be held. He loves his head being scratched! He will drool with pleasure and will head bump and nudge for more. He’d do best in a quiet and relaxed house. He’s low maintenance and independent but super loving too. Great, great personality! Would love to adopt him with our other kitty, Ozzy!

Current medical conditions are noted below.1) Feline Plasma Cell Pododermatitis also known as `Pillow Pad`This cat has inflammation of the foot pads on both front feet caused by an auto-immune condition. With treatment, this condition can resolve and/or be managed. Long term Doxyxcycline treatment is required. Follow up care with your regular veterinarain is needed to monitor response to treatment and refill medication as needed.Doxycycline tablets need to be given in food or followed by 5ml of water to prevent esophagitis.Additional care for these conditions may be needed after adoption. Please follow up with your regular veterinarian.

She is the sweetest thing. She snuggles so much. She loves to burro under blankets and sleep against you. Loves her "num-nums" ( temptation treats) and is still playful. I've had her rabies shots up-to-date because I usually get her groomed, and from past vet visits I haven't been advised to give her any other shots just the rabies. She is strictly an indoor cat, although on a nice summer day she will venture out to the front yard for some vitamin D, but not for too long.
