Story
Leon is looking for a barn home together! Leon is an 3 adult male who has been assessed as semi-social. Semi-social cats may occasionally accept light petting and may eventually warm up to being more of a companion or indoor/outdoor cat with proper socialization and adequate time to adjust to a new environment. For now, they would prefer living in an outdoor environment. They will need at least 6 weeks of confinement in a secure enclosure, such as a shed, before they can be let outside to start exploring the property. Leon must go home to an established colony. If you are interested in adopting Leon to be a working cat on your property, stop by the shelter any day during adoption hours to join the queue. If you have not submitted a barn cat application previously, you will need to fill one out when you arrive. All adoptions are first come, first serve.*Barn cats require a secure indoor enclosure where they can be kept confined. After they are able to have outdoor access, they should continue to have access to this safe indoor space for protection from weather and predators. The indoor space could be a shed, garage, workshop, barn, etc. but should have four walls and a roof and be able to be entered by the caretakers in order to feed the cat and clean the litter box. Barn cat caretakers should expect to provide access to a litter box even after the cat is able to go outdoors, will need to feed the cat and provide fresh water daily, and will need to provide routine vaccines and medical care if the cat becomes sick or injured.*Adoptions are held Wednesday - Monday from 12:00PM to 4:00PM. Our adoption process is an in-person, first-come, first serve system. Even though adoptions do not start until noon, you may arrive a little early to join the queue starting at 11AM. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 11.74

Princess seeks affection and isn't afraid to be vocal about it. She is searching for a home where she will be a true companion: she wants to be where her people are, and she wants to be noticed! Princess came from very humble beginnings, but she knows what her name means and as such she expects her new owners to pay her daily homage of cuddles, wet food, and quality time watching Netflix together. Princess can get along with other cats given time to warm up but also would love to be the only recipient of your adoration :)
