Story
Hi, I'm the petite gentleman Skye! I have the cutest little ears. I'm a ball of fluffy love.I'm an especially sweet guy with some special needs. I have seizures sometimes which are quite scary for me and anyone watching. When I have a seizure I might fall off my cat tree and (rarely) I lose control of my bladder. I'm on medication for the seizures which is working well. My seizures are more under control that when I first came here and I have them about once a month now. The seizures last about 30 seconds to a minute and there isn't much to be done except make sure I don't fall off something. I also have a history of having urinary crystals so I need to stay on a prescription urinary food for life. That prevents the crystals from forming. I also have a sensitive stomach so there is one type of food that helps both the crystals and my tummy issues.I like to greet people and will give a little head boop to your leg when I am looking for attention. I'm quite mellow as my medication makes me a little sedate to prevent seizures. However, I've recently taught myself how to use a cat wheel (see video below)! The people here were amazed that the most mellow cat in the shelter figured out how to use it.Likes: I love to be social with people. I also love to play! I'm a mellow boy who just loves love.Dislikes: I might be able to hang out with with other cats but I have tried to bully one cat in the shelter before and I've been bullied by some others. A very mellow small dog might be ok but in general I don't like dogs.Looking For: An adopter who is willing to work with my seizures and other special needs. My estimated birthdate is 4/21/2021.

Story
Cider is the sweetest of sweet boys. I was delivering a lady’s Wendy’s during the pandemic and came home with this little guy. He is so affectionate and loves to be petted and played with. I’ve always told people he is a dog in a cat body. However, with such a loving and companion-oriented personality came challenges I did not foresee. When I went back to work he really struggled. I got him a brother and it did not help. He grew up being indoor/outdoor and it had become very clear that being inside only was detrimental to his mental health. He would try to run out whenever I opened the door, he would meow if I wasn’t present, etc. The stress led to blockages and finally a PU surgery; he has had no crystal issues since. But it is very clear that the stress of being kept inside is too much for him. I cannot offer indoor/outdoor in an apartment, so I must look for a loving home that can offer him the freedom he needs.

Story
Grimace is a little bit older than a year, very snuggly, and loves wet food. He has a sweet meow, and will let you know when he needs attention. He loves being brushed, and taking naps with you. He does have issues with other cats, he came from a situation of over 20 cats living inside. He needs a single pet house hold. We have dogs and he does swat at them. Grimace would love a family. Right now, we have to keep him separated from our other cats in our bathroom. Super sweet, young boy, ready for some cuddles!

Story
Two gorgeous orange cats (male and female) looking for a new home. Their names are Nugget (orange nose) and Peaches (white nose) and are 1 year 9 months old. We found them, along with their other 5 siblings, late at night in the middle of a road all bundled together. All their other siblings quickly found homes and our family decided to keep these two a little longer. Nugget, a shy and very cautious cat, loves getting petted… when he was younger, he would drool a lot when petted (he still drools a little bit). Peaches is a sociable and approachable cat. She likes getting petted, but not nearly as much as Nugget. She loves to hang out with her humans wherever they go. We have enjoyed having these two beautiful cats in our lives, but as our lifestyles shift, we are no longer able to house these two cuties. Looking to give them as a pair (kids’ request) to a good family and ideally in or near Sherwood. Kids would love to continue to see pictures of them. Both cats are spayed/neutered
