Story
Mumps is independent and quiet. Once he gets to know you he is friendly but not very cuddly. He has medium long gray hair with white tuxedo markings and is about 3 years old. He is possibly Maine Coon mixed breed. He likes to hang out in his cat tree, he does not play in it, more a king of his castle behavior. He is an indoor/outdoor kitty. He has been raised with dogs and other cats and is OK around them. He has not been raised with young kids but should be fine as he has been raised in a home with teenagers. Mumps is neutered, recently vaccinated, dewormed and flea treated. When Mumps came to the family as a kitten during Covid he helped his human family to endure being stuck in their home, cut off from others. His human family has grown in recent months and the combining of families brought a total of too many furry friends. Mumps has a sister, Finnigan, and if it is possible to have them both adopted together that would be wonderful. $100 paired with sister Finnegan, $75 alone.

Story
Brie is a loving cat 3 year old cat who likes to be petted. She talks a lot when she wants attention. She sleeps with me at night. Brie has been an indoor cat for the last 6 months and she is cautious about going outside. She loves to sit on the window sill and look at birds in the yard. Brie is good with respectful children that give her gentle attention and other cats that need a buddy. Brie came to me as a little kitten and a lifestyle change and roommates with allergies have allocated her to one room currently. She needs an interactive family and space to roam. Brie is spayed and UTD on vaccines. Her adoption fee to a loving home is $80.   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Story
At first glance you’ll notice Maya’s beautiful fur and her super fluffy tail. It’s spectacular! Maya will approach you, lay down, and want you to pet her. That’s when you’ll notice her sweet disposition and alluring charm. Maya is bonded to Armani who we believe is her son. Maya is lovable and would love being doted over with mini body massages and chin rubs. She is currently in a quiet adult home with other felines. We don’t know her history with dogs or children. She’s a little on the shy side when first meeting you but adjusts quickly with patience. Maya makes us chuckle with her big wide-eyed look. Give her a big comfy bed and she goes to town making biscuits. She is adorable and will make a great companion to anyone wanting a sweetheart of a girl in their life. She is bonded to Armani. Maya's beautiful 5 month old Tabby boy is quite the sweetheart. When you first pet Armani, you'll notice he is soft as Cashmere. You just want to keep petting him, which Armani absolutely loves. It's as if you're cuddling a cloud. He has those beautiful tabby markings with brown and cream all mixed together. And an amazingly fluffy tail with a dark tip. Armani is a love bug who seeks out your attention and will paw at your hand asking for more love. He's playful and still learning about all the different toys available to him. He is currently in a quiet adult home with other felines. We don’t know his history with dogs or children. Armani is a little shy until he gets used to you, which doesn't take long with his mom by his side. He is adjusting fast and finding the happy life inside where it is safe after having to fend for himself outside with his mom and siblings. He is bonded to Maya who we believe is his mom. Adoption fee for Armani and Maya is $200   For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Story
Luna and Stella are sisters. They play together and groom each other and they should not be separated, so please only apply for adoption if you wish to take them both. Luna is the fluffy gray girl. She is a constant explorer, endlessly curious, and appears to fear nothing (not even the vacuum cleaner!) She likes high places to get a good view of her domain, so make her a bed on a nice tall perch. She is extremely outgoing and will run right up to any new people she meets as though they were old friends. She has an exhaustive appetite for play. Stella is the larger, short-haired girl. She is more cautious than her sister, but once she gets used to you, she will roll over to show you her stripes. She is also happy to chase toys around, but she has less energy than her sister. She likes having a safe, dark place to sleep until she is comfortable with her surroundings. Although both of the girls are the same age (they came from the same litter), I feel that Luna has a strong big sis vibe with regard to her sister. They have previously lived in a house with dogs and with children, and currently live in an apartment right next to train tracks, so they are able to cope with any amount of noise and appear to adapt quickly to new surroundings. However, I do not know how they would feel about other cats. I think that they would do well in a house with kids that are old enough to be responsible with a feline play companion. Again, please only apply if you are able to take both Luna and Stella. They are friends and should not be torn apart. $150 for the pair. Indoor only.   These sisters are spayed, vaccinated for virus/URI and also Rabies and and will be microchipped prior to adoption. Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. Story
Check out Marlee Peepers and Elliot. These two are not siblings, are 3-4 weeks apart and buddies! Elliot's siblings have all been adopted, making him an only and lonely, so along came Marlee Peepers from another foster home to keep him company. Now they would love to be adopted together  Elliot~ He is the bigger lad with the whiskers that just won't quit! He is the dashing handsome tuxedo. He is a super gentle, little aloof and playful guy. A true cuddle buddy. He loves to play with his siblings, Marlee Peepers and the other cats in the house. Ok, those whiskers and just amazing.  Elliot is a charmer and an excellent companion. He is going to be best suited in a home where there is another buddy who he can buddy up to. He is not fearful of a cat friendly dog, other cats or people. Marlee Peepers the tuxedo baby full of spunk and character. Marlee is 8 weeks old. She adores the attention of people, other cats and friendly dogs in the house. She is the first one to introduce herself with her silly dance and jump twist. She does not like to be alone, but settles in for quiet time after she has explored, chased, played with Elliot. Marlee Peepers will follow you around and surprise you with a leap onto your lap. She was much younger then Elliot when she arrived and has not been spayed yet. Now she is big enough for surgery which is set for Oct 3rd. She could go with Elliot to their new home before her surgery, but would have to return for her spay date. Please consider these two as a pair so they can enjoy life together. The adoption fee for 1 kitten is $300 . The adoption fee includes their spay/neuter, microchips, current vaccines, negative FIV/FeLV test, flea treatment and worming treatment For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Story
Luna and Atlas have been together since mid April 2023, when, as a very young mother, Luna gave birth to Atlas and his littermates. The littermates were adopted and Luna was relieved of most of the responsibilities of motherhood. She and Atlas now play together and enjoy the company of one another as two young playful cats. They especially enjoy watching the real birds from the window of their foster home or playing with the humans with the feathers on a string toy, “Da Bird”. But they are also happy to just hang out, watch TV, and get pets from their human friends.   Luna has maintained her habit of vocalizing quietly from the back of her throat when she is with Atlas and he just enjoys being near her. Atlas is very intelligent and takes a few minutes to approach a new human, but once he knows that person he is friendly and likes petting and playing. Luna is friendly and unafraid. She also loves petting and playing. They are waiting patiently for their “forever home” together.   Both Luna and Atlas have perfect litter box habits and are friendly with the other cats in the foster home. They have no experience with dogs.  Luna has medium length hair that is multicolored.  Atlas is gray/white short hair.  Indoor only.  $250 adopt fee for the pair   For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM.
