Story
Hi, I'm the petite gentleman Skye! I have the cutest little ears. I'm a ball of fluffy love.I'm an especially sweet guy with some special needs. I have seizures sometimes which are quite scary for me and anyone watching. When I have a seizure I might fall off my cat tree and (rarely) I lose control of my bladder. I'm on medication for the seizures which is working well. My seizures are more under control that when I first came here and I have them about once a month now. The seizures last about 30 seconds to a minute and there isn't much to be done except make sure I don't fall off something. I also have a history of having urinary crystals so I need to stay on a prescription urinary food for life. That prevents the crystals from forming. I also have a sensitive stomach so there is one type of food that helps both the crystals and my tummy issues.I like to greet people and will give a little head boop to your leg when I am looking for attention. I'm quite mellow as my medication makes me a little sedate to prevent seizures. However, I've recently taught myself how to use a cat wheel (see video below)! The people here were amazed that the most mellow cat in the shelter figured out how to use it.Likes: I love to be social with people. I also love to play! I'm a mellow boy who just loves love.Dislikes: I might be able to hang out with with other cats but I have tried to bully one cat in the shelter before and I've been bullied by some others. A very mellow small dog might be ok but in general I don't like dogs.Looking For: An adopter who is willing to work with my seizures and other special needs. My estimated birthdate is 4/21/2021.

Great news! My adoption fee has been paid by someone who loves me and wants me to find a great home. Here's what you need to know about me:I have some handling sensitivity. That means I have some preferences about how and where I get petted. My human friends at the shelter can tell you more!I need a home without cats. We just don't get along - even if they don't mind me, I can't be in the same home with them.If there are kids in my new home, I would like them to be older than 6 and need to meet them before going home. An adoption counselor can tell you more. Primary Color: Black Weight: 7.3625 Age: 10yrs 1mths 1wks

Great news! My adoption fee has been paid by someone who loves me and wants me to find a great home. Here's what you need to know about me:I'm a peculiar guy. As a retired tom-cat, I may not be the perfect fit for all families, but I'm a great fit for someone looking for a companion with a big personality. I would prefer access to outdoors. I can feel pretty bored indoors and would love a home where I can either work as a Barn Cat, or a safe indoor/outdoor home. If I stay indoors, I will need a wide array of enrichment to keep me busy. I would prefer a home without cats. We just don't get along - even if they don't mind me, I can't be in the same home with them.If there are kids in my new home, I need them to be older than 12 years and prefer to meet them before going home. An adoption counselor can tell you more. Primary Color: Brown Tabby Weight: 12.12 Age: 3yrs 3mths 4wks
