Story
Jett is an adorable, enthusiastic lovebug looking for a family ready for lots of playtime and snuggles. Jett has a gorgeous, silky soft black coat. He loves chasing wand toys, pouncing on catnip toys and wrestling with his brother Jax. When he's not playing, Jett likes to nap and cuddle with people or pets. Jett is clever and mostly well-behaved. He occasionally decides to help himself and his brother to some extra treats, but he can mostly exercise self-control if the treat bags are sealed. Jett loves all sorts of wet food and treats; he's willing to try almost anything and is happy to help people finish their food too. Jett loves everyone and wants to be their friend right away. He gets along well with kids, other cats and dogs. He needs to be adopted with his best buddy, his brother Jax. Jett and Jax came to us from the Central Valley, after kind neighbors took in their abandoned mom. The kittens were quite a surprise, but they were lovingly cared for, and now they are hoping to find the same love with their forever family. These sweethearts really love each other, and they need to be adopted together. The boys are healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and microchipped. Could you be the purr-fect family for them?

Story
Jax is an elegant, dapper gentleman all dressed up to meet his new family. This handsome 1-year-old tuxedo loves snuggles and cuddles. He likes curling up under the covers with people and grooming and kneading with other kitties. Besides being very fashionable, Jax has a silken soft coat perfect for petting and he is a big boy! Jax loves playing with his wand toys, and wrestling and playing chase with his brother Jett. Jax is so tall and has such a long tail that sometimes he races around in circles chasing it. He likes climbing cat trees and playing with catnip toys. Jax is an adventurous eater willing to try almost any kind of cat food or cookie. Jax has an affectionate, friendly personality; he gets along with everyone and wants to snuggle with everyone too. He is good with kids, other cats and dogs. Jax hopes his new family will love his brother Jett as these two lovebugs need to stay together. Could you be their best-ever holiday present of a forever family to love them?

Story
McCovey is a handsome orange tabby with a motorboat purr who was born in September 2018. He has a sweet but vague disposition. McCovey has severe developmental delays; he has difficulty figuring things out and his long term memory is very poor. He will need a kind, understanding family able to accept him for who he is and willing to accommodate his needs. McCovey is a good eater who's favorite flavors are chicken and tuna. He loves treats and will even eat them out of your hand! He enjoys the company of other cats, and we would like him to have buddies in his forever home. He likes to spend most of his time sitting in his cat tree. McCovey loves pets, cuddles and brushing, as long as they're on his terms. McCovey gets lost easily, and is often anxious because everything seems new to him all the time. He can't remember or recognize people or other cats. McCovey has a special room because he doesn't understand doorways - if he goes through one, he forgets what they are and can't find his way back. As long as he's in his own special room, he has good self-care skills, but he can become aggressive when anxious and agitated. McCovey has made some very modest progress, but he has probably reached the ceiling of his abilities and is unlikely to improve any more. McCovey is a very unique cat, the only one to have this disability in our experience, as well as the experience of his vets and neurologist. Given his high level of needs, we're looking for a very patient, understanding and cat-experienced family that is willing and able to meet him where he is. In a perfect world, his forever family will have a passion for helping special needs cats, and already have a room or catio set up that can accommodate him plus some buddies for him to share it with. Due to his special needs, McCovey will be transitioning to his new home in a foster-to-adopt situation. He is FIV/FeLv negative, microchipped, neutered and current on his vaccines. Could you be the guardian angel he's been waiting for?

Story
This handsome boy is one of the most well-rounded cats you’ll ever meet. He is incredibly kid-friendly, dog-friendly, cat-friendly, and loves every person he meets. Gentle and patient, he adapts easily to any home and gets along beautifully with other animals. He has a playful, curious side & he enjoys toys, exploring, and interacting with his family but he also knows how to settle down and be calm when it’s time to relax. Smart and affectionate, he loves cuddling up for snuggles and being close to his people. Whether you’re looking for a companion for your kids, a friend for your pets, or a loving lap buddy, he is the perfect match.

Story
Meet Gatita, a sweet 14-year-old kitty with a big heart and a beautiful story. Gatita and I have been a bonded pair since she was a tiny kitten in my grandmother's village in Spain. From the moment I held her as a little babu cat, we connected. She has lived with me in Spain, then Canada, and now California, always adapting with her gentle, affectionate personality. Gatita's greatest joy in life is being close to her Human(s). She is incredibly loving, cuddly, and happiest curled up on a soft blanket on the sofa right next to you. Gatita is healthy, lively, and has no special medical needs. If you're looking for a calm, affectionate companion who will warm your home (and your lap!), she is THE cat for you! I am currently pregnant and expecting my first baby in February, and as much as it breaks my heart, I know I won't be able to give Gatita the attention she deserves in her old years. She thrives on closeness and gentle routines, and I want her to have a loving home.
