We adopted chowder after my brother found him and his sister abandoned without their mother. They needed some healthcare needs and we attended to that quickly. We weren’t planning on keeping them long but fell in love with them. At the time we had a larger home to accommodate 5 animals, since then we have moved and our allergies to all the hair have become an issue. Chowder can tolerate dogs but would prefer a home without them. He also would thrive in a home with older kids that don’t move fast. I’ve never been able to hold him but he does love pets on his terms. He will crawl on your lap and lay. They have been strictly indoor cats. I would love to adopt them both out together if possible but he is the one I think would thrive the most if in a home with an experienced cat person and no children.
