Pet adoption fee is because I need to be sure you are seriously committed. Carly's a 9-year-old domestic shorthair who was rescued as a kitten on Oahu. She's a sweet little cuddlemuffin who is shy at first, but is endlessly affectionate once she opens up. No medical or behavioral issues. About the worst she does is destroy any comforter she sits upon by making biscuits. Carly's been miserable, and I want to find her a happier living situation. Preferably a family with kids who can give her lots of love and attention. My job situation has changed where I am no longer working from home full time and we recently moved into an apartment where she can't roam and disappear as she's used to. My kids are either grown or only here every couple of weeks. So it's mostly just her and me, and when I get home she's exceptionally clingy like she's been lonely all day. She prefers people to animals, but has lived with other animals before. She doesn't do hyper, but may tolerate another mellow pet.
