Story
This is Orbit, a 7-month-old tabby kitten with soft stripes and an even softer soul. Orbit is a shy little guy who’s still learning that the world is a safe and loving place. He may take some time to come out of his shell, but with patience and kindness, he’ll reward you with quiet affection and gentle companionship. Orbit is looking for a calm, peaceful home where he can grow at his own pace. He would do best in a quieter environment—perhaps with just one calm feline friend or as a solo kitty where he can get all the love and attention he needs to feel secure. He also does well with older, respectful children who understand that shy kittens need a little extra space and time to build trust. Once he feels safe, Orbit enjoys cozy nap spots, soft blankets, and gentle pets. He’s not the boldest kitten on the block, but he has a heart full of love just waiting for the right person to unlock it. If you have a quiet home and a patient heart, Orbit might be your perfect match. Come meet this sweet boy and help him discover how good life can be. Adoption Application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Orbit is currently 7 months, neutered and microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and in great health! He does a great job of keeping his litterbox tidy. All he needs now is his forever home! The adoption application can be found here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Orbit is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, or the Pacific Northwest or locations along this route. ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES: When you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you’re doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee pays for a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you for your contribution to our efforts! Story
At 6½ months old, Thistle is a gentle little soul who melts right into a soft bed and loves the cozy comforts of home. She’s the kind of kitten who finds joy in quiet moments — a soft blanket, a sunny window, or a gentle chin scratch. Thistle gets along wonderfully with cats, dogs, and children, making her a perfect fit for just about any home ready to love her back. Though her siblings have already found families, she’s patiently waiting for hers — and she’s ready to bring warmth and sweetness wherever she goes. Spayed, vaccinated, combo tested, and up to date on flea and worm prevention. Transport available to Colorado, the PNW, or the Northeast (included in adoption fee). If you’re looking for a tenderhearted companion to complete your family, Thistle is ready to bloom in your home. ———————————————— **Every adoption makes a difference** Each adoption helps fund care for homeless cats in need. Our organization understands that we can’t adopt our way out of this crisis — real change comes through prevention. Every dollar goes directly toward spaying and neutering community pets and unowned cats, helping to stop the cycle of homelessness before it starts.

Melon is as tasty as a juicy fruit!!! Adoption Application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/ Melon is a little guy who loves his best kitten and human friends. He is a little timid in new situations at first, but time helps him feel safe. Melon was trapped in a feral colony and saved from a tough life on the streets. Melon love his foster family, but he is ready to find his best forever family!! This kitten is living their best indoor kitten life!! Melon and his foster sibling Astro, Sol, and Orbit are on the hunt for their new forever family. Could it be you? Melon is ~7 months old, spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and in great health. They do a great job of keeping their litterbox tidy. All they need now is a forever home! Melon and his buddies have never met a dog, but with slow introductions to a calm, cat-savvy pup, we think they could learn to love a new dog friend. They are so excited they get to live the inside cat life!! Priority will be given to applicants interested in adopting a pair of kittens or who have patient, playful resident cats or dogs at home. Information on why adopting two kittens is better for their short- and long-term health can be found here: http://www.kittenlady.org/twokittens The adoption application can be found here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Melon is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, or locations along these routes. ——— ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES: When you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you're doing more than giving your new family member a home. Story
Thumper is a bright, bustling girl, approximately 5 years of age. She has the classic stocky tabby body but with a unique bobbed tail, giving her the look of a mini-bobcat. Thumper is curious and confident with new people and warms up quickly, and will soon be chirping and doing dolphin-dives up to your hand for scritches. Thumper has medium energy, and loves attention and chasing her favorite cat wand. She also loves all things that radiate warmth, and adores curling up in a warm bed or in front of a fireplace. She is quickly learning to be a lap cat, and at night has been known to share her person`s pillow. Thumper was an owner surrender after being turned outdoors by her previous family. Thumper has suspected asthma for which she needs daily medication, and will require ongoing veterinary monitoring for this condition. She`ll need a non-smoking, indoor-only home. Thumper will be happiest as an only pet - she can be quite bossy with other cats, bordering on bullying. She can also get a bit feisty if overstimulated during play, and thus will do best in a calm home without small or rambunctious kids. It is not known how she would respond to dogs. Thumper would love to meet you and your household members! She is currently in foster care in a home in Lake Forest Park (near Shoreline). To learn more about Thumper or to set up a meet and greet, please fill out the Foster Adoption Interest E-form or contact the foster parent directly at jen.dunnaway at gmail dot com, or by text at 607 244 4288.

Story
Hi! My name is Greenbean and I am available for adoption.I was brought to RASKC on October 2, 2025. I am in a wonderful foster home who is continuing to socialize me. Due to my shy nature I would thrive best in a calm and quiet home without younger children. When I go to my new home it is important to be patient with me and allow me time to acclimate to my new environment at my own speed. It is best to keep me in a smaller, quiet room, with my food, bed, and litterbox until I am comfortable and confident enough to start exploring the rest of my home.If you are interested in meeting me please fill out a foster interest form!I am a gentle and loving cat who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might need some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend!
