ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES:

Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and transportation costs. Also, when you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you’re doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee sponsors a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you so much for your contribution to our efforts!

Meet Josephine and Emma - a truly extraordinary bonded pair of kitties 💛TOO LONG, DIDN’T READ - SUMMARY:* Adoption Application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat* Our rescue is located in Houston, TX, and we transport our babies to wonderful adopters in the Northeast, Pacific Northwest, and Colorado (on occasion). Transport cost is included in the adoption fee.* Josephine (FeLV+) is bonded with her daughter Emma, who has tested negative multiple times for FeLV. * Adoption fee for Emma and Josephine together is $500 (which includes a discount for adopting both of these amazing cats.)---We don't usually write a biography for two cats at once, but this sweet mother/daughter duo share everything, and you really can't get to know one of them without the other!Josephine, the devoted mother, and Emma, her daughter, share a bond based on survival and love. The duo came from a rough situation where survival wasn’t guaranteed, yet somehow, they made their way through... and held on tight to each other. Since then, they’ve been inseparable, forming a bond that is as rare as it is beautiful. Josephine and Emma aren’t just cats who get along. They’re a family, a team, and a reminder of resilience and love. They'll be a beautiful addition to a loving forever family. ---Josephine is the heart of the duo: bubbly, gentle, and full of quiet kindness. She has an innocent sweetness about her, and a protective, nurturing instinct when it comes to Emma. She’s a loving presence who seems to understand just how special their connection is. Emma, her daughter, brings a different kind of charm. She’s a bit more cautious at first, observing the world with her wide, expressive eyes that make her look forever kitten-like. But in a flash, that soft gaze can turn into a mischievous, almost “tiny troublemaker” look that gives her a playful edge. It’s part of what makes her so endearing.Together, they do everything side by side: sleeping in little tangled bundles, grooming each other, playing, basking in the sun, or simply sitting close, as if that alone is enough. Their relationship isn’t just companionship; it’s a deep, comforting partnership that you can feel just by being around them. These two gals also adore their foster family and are always in the middle of the action! They love pets and snuggles, and bring a calm energy to any room. They are so loving and adorable -- they are guaranteed to bring a smile to your face! Josephine and Emma are looking for a home where they can stay together... just as they’ve always been.---Emma and Josephine have been around cats in their foster home and they do very well in that environment! They would both be great in a home with another resident cat, but please consult your veterinarian on vaccines and recommendations due to Josephine's FeLV+ status.Emma is ~1 year old and Josephine is ~2 years old. They are both spayed, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. The adoption application can be found here:

Meet Misha! The adoption application can be found here:https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/CatMisha is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, Colorado, or locations along their route.Misha's Story:Misha was found living in a colony with about 15 cats. Her ear was already notched so someone cared enough to fix her. But upon a closer look, Misha could barely open her mouth, she had severe mouth issues, her fur was missing and she was severely underweight. Her rescuers negotiated with the feeders to surrender Misha to them and after a long 30 days, they finally agree. And thereafter began Misha’s long journey to how you see her now. Her mouth and teeth were in such horrible condition, it took 3 months of tube-feeding and steroids to bring the inflammation down far enough to do dental work. It was a long process, but was all worth it when we see how good Misha looks now.She is playful, loves her toys — plays with it in spurts of energy. She still loves kitten kibble, but also loves her wet pates. She is fine with other cats, tries to make friends, but she is picky. She doesn’t like any cat up in her face and will let them know she likes her space. She loves to be petted and will come to you and ask for it. She is not a lap cat. She does not like being picked up too much, except to lead her to food. She loves scratching things, loves a good basket and bed to curl up in and will lounge all day long until she hears or sees you petting another cat — then she will emerge for affection. Misha will do great in a home with other cats, where you’re not looking for a clingy cat, but one that does seek your affection.Misha is spayed, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and in great health. She does a great job of keeping her litterbox tidy. All she needs now is her forever home! She has never met a dog.---ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES:Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and transportation costs. Story
Hi! My name is Orin and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by a good Samaritan on August 27, 2026.I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home once I get to know you!I like getting attention on my own terms. I can get overstimulated with petting, so please move carefully with me and keep an eye out for signs that I might need a break.Because of my shy nature, I would do best in a calm, quiet home. When I go to my new home it is important to be patient with me and allow me time to acclimate to my new environment at my own speed. It is best to keep me in a smaller, quiet room, with my food, bed, and litterbox until I am comfortable and confident enough to start exploring the rest of my home.I am a spirited cat with a fun-loving personality! I may be sensitive to handling, so I would do best in a home with a cat savvy family who knows when to give me some space.

Story
Meet Paisley, the teeny tiny girl with a BIG personality! QUICK NOTES* Adoption Application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat* Paisley is a very social girl and needs to be adopted with a buddy or to a house with a playful and friendly resident kitty* We transport our babies from Houston, TX to the NE, PNW, and locations along those routes (adoption fee includes transport)* Adoption Fee (kitten < 6 mo) is $425 and includes all vetting and cost of transport---Paisley may only be two months old, but she has never once gotten that memo! This short-haired dark grey tabby is instantly recognizable by her two most charming features: a sweet little heart-shaped orange spot on her neck and the most adorable white smudge on her nose. She is, in a word, special.Paisley is always on the move, always making friends, and always the first to say hello to a new face (feline or human). She is smart, bold, and utterly unstoppable. She loves to play, will follow a Churu treat packet to the ends of the earth, and genuinely thrives with feline companionship. She’d do best in a home with at least one or two other cats to keep up with her big energy and even bigger heart. This little girl loves her "siblings" Puck and Piper (the little kitten family that adopter her as their own), and also does great with her foster buddy Gigi.Sometimes she is still a little shy at first with new people, but will warm up quickly once she knows she can trust you! This little girl is one of a kind. If you’re lucky enough to adopt Paisley, she will absolutely run your household - and you’ll love every second of it. Foster siblings: Puck (F), Piper (F), Gigi (F)---🐾 Health & Care:• FVRCP & rabies vaccinated• Spayed and microchipped• Current on dewormer & flea preventionFostered in Houston, TX: transport available to the Pacific Northwest, the Northeast, and stops along the route. Transport costs are covered by the adoption fee.Your adoption fee saves two lives: it brings Paisley home AND funds spay/neuter surgeries, vaccines, and critical veterinary care for homeless cats and community cats in need. One fee. Two lives saved.
