Story
Wille and his bonded littermate Able were rescued with their mom from a catering warehouse in Houston, TX. They are ready for their loving forever home! They were rescued at 7 weeks old, however, due to malnourishment, their body condition was at about 4 weeks at that time. Their mom is pretty petite, so I'm not sure how big they will end up. They are healthy, energetic, and happy boys now! I've included a picture of them with their mom, so you can see what she looks like. Willie & Able have been fostered with other cats and 3 large dogs. They are very playful and super curious. I've been able to trim their nails by myself, so they're getting used to their feet being touched. I've also been getting them used to having their bellies rubbed, as for cats, that's normally a no-touch zone. Their favorite toys are bell balls, shaky mice, and fishing pole teaser toys. They will run away with the teaser toys, it cracks me up. Another favorite game is "Monster under the Covers," where I move my feet under the comforter and they get me. Since they are very active boys, they will need a home with space to run and play (indoors only). They also love their cat tree and Chewy.com boxes will entertain them for days! Willie is a little more independent than Able. Able loves to follow me everywhere and both of them love for me to give him a ride on my back and walk around the house. They both follow me into the bathroom (they were quarantined there when I first brought them home, so it's their safe space) and love to hang out while I shower or brush my teeth, etc. They will need a safe room like that when they are first brought into their new home - a safe, smaller, separate room where they can adjust to the change for the first couple weeks. I can help you through that process. We will require a video meeting during the adoption process, and I can provide tips if you need them. Able is more of a lap cat than Willie, but they both climb up on my work chair with me or get on my desk. They will both come up on the couch with me, but not necessarily on me. I feel that once they're in a home where the attention is only or mostly on them (there are several other animals here), they will seek attention from their people even more. They are trained to come running full speed to the sound of a Churu packet!! This will be your fastest way to bond with them. All I have to do is shake the tube, and they come barreling through the room! Able is my number one meal investigator. He likes to check out what I'm eating all the time. They both love sitting on my side window ledge and watching the birds at the feeder outside. Since I have dogs constantly shuffling in and out of the back door, they've become very curious about the back door, so you have to be super careful around doors, so they don't run out. Their curiosity also takes them into cabinets, closets, front-loading laundry machines, and the dishwasher. So you have to be very mindful and careful not to allow them to get trapped in any of those places. They look very similar. Willie has a darker brown head and a little bit of a wider, darker nose. Able has a lighter color head and nose. They are lovely boys. They're super sweet, and they've come a long way since they had such a rough start in life. Their mom was just shy of a year old when she had them. They are both neutered, up-to-date on shots, and microchipped. Their mom tested negative on the combo test, so they should be good on that, too. I adore them so much, and they're ready for their forever home where they will get all the attention and love they deserve! Please keep in mind, they are only 6 months old and cats live to around 20. So please be ready to make a 20-year commitment. They are currently being fostered in Austin, TX. We have an airline employee who is willing & able to fly them to Seattle in-cabin, so you would need to meet them at the airport during the morning or day on transport day.
We'll also keep you updated on Able's adoption status with email updates.

Story
I’m Twilight and I demand your full attention RIGHT MEOW!!! Something terrible has happened. I was informed today that I am homeless!!! Can you believe that?? Sweet, purrfect, little me! How can this be? I mean, I guess I thought it was a little weird that every time I looked out my window there were all these strange random animals everywhere. I just thought I had alot of family Nope. Apparently, I am residing in a Petsense. ” Don’t get me wrong, I really love everyone here, but this is a travesty of justice!! I thought I had all these people to myself. Turns out not a single one of them belong to me. Like, I don’t own a single human. This needs to be remedied effective immediately. I need someone to come pick me up ASAP. What will all the other cats think when they find out I don’t have a home??!! It’s totally going to kill my popularity for sure. My meows sound like a squeaky toy. I like to be pet 24/7. I love to cuddle and love to hold your hand with my paws and offer licks. I’m not meant to be homeless. *Twilight is 2yrs young. This pet is located in Houston, TX. After you fill out the application, and become an approved adopter, we will schedule a virtual meet and greet with the foster and Twilight. After that, we will make arrangements to have the pet transported by van or flown to the Seattle area. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee and there is no additional costs to adopter. The process of arranging the travel and getting the animal here, on average, takes 2-4 weeks, depending on availability of the transporters and your availability to meet them. We understand this process is not as easy as walking into a shelter and immediately adopting a pet, but getting animals out of Houston and the surrounding areas is the only viable chance many of them have, so we appreciate your understanding. We do not accept ANY adoption fees ahead of the pet's arrival, until the pet is with you. We also understand adopting a pet you have not seen in person can be a bit worrisome, especially if other animals are involved. During the adoption process we do our best to convey the personality and allowances of each pet. This is where the foster's involvement is vital. The fosters have the animals often for an extended period of time, and have gotten to know them well. In saying that, not everything is predictable. If things are not what you expect, we have resources on the Seattle side to take the animal back. If possible, we would appreciate, if the situation allows, for you to foster the pet until a new home is found. If that is not possible, we also understand that, and will take them back regardless. This kitty is up to date on vaccinations, has tested negative for FIV/FeLV and is has been spayed or neutered. Twilight's adoption fee is 195.00

Story
My name is Temple, but my foster mom calls me Tempera (mental); she says that I am one of those "hard to adopt cats." I have no idea why: I am an adorable 2 year old and love to be petted; but only when I tell you to do so. You must respect my space! (I won't respect yours, though, but that's your problem because you are a human and I am a cat, so when I want love and petting, I will get them!) I like to hang out around humans all the time, but I do have a clear preference for men. (I guess my foster mother is also OK, she feeds me.) I am well behaved: I almost never meow; I don't scratch furniture nor chew on anything. I am looking for an experienced cat person with the time and patience to help me feel secure and happy. I will do better in a house with no other pets because I am unique and special; I don't like to share my humans, (some might even call me sassy). No children, please. This pet is located in Houston, TX. After you fill out the application, and become an approved adopter, we will schedule a virtual meet and greet with the foster and Temple. Story
Fir is a gorgeous, playful boy. He spent the first 6 months of his life on the streets. Understandably, it takes him a little while to warm up to humans. He might be shy, but he is very food motivated so all it takes is treats to get him out of his shell. Once he trusts you, he will ask for petting and for you to play with him and his toys. Fir’s Caoba is also listed for adoption. It’s not mandatory they be adopted together but that would be wonderful if it works out! This pet is located in Houston, TX. After you fill out the application, and become an approved adopter, we will schedule a virtual meet and greet with the foster and Fir. Caoba is a very playful 8 month old kitty. She is a little timid at first, but if you give her a minute (sometimes, less than a minute) she will start purring and will keep it going as long as she has your attention. It’s not mandatory they be adopted together but that would be wonderful if it works out! This pet is located in Houston, TX.
