Story
Cole is a sweet, gentle giant with the deepest purrs. He is an energetic boy who would thrive in a home where he can run and play and be with someone who will enjoy giving him lots of quality time and attention. Cole loves churu treats, chasing his string toy, and perching by the window. He is slowly getting comfortable with lap time. Cole was found outside and other cats were fighting with him, so he might prefer a home with no other pets or having a friendly young cat to play with. Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. This will include reviewing all known medical and behavior information. ** Please note that some animals will receive numerous inquiries, sometimes more than we can process. We appreciate your understanding and patience. Story
Hi, I`m Minkey — a big, handsome guy with loads of personality and a dash of spice! I might need some space at first, but once I trust you, I’ll be your chill buddy, hanging nearby, letting you pet me, and even sleeping next to you. I’m not a lap cat, but I do have a snuggly side—on my terms! I also have a playful streak. I go wild for catnip and string toys—definitely the way to my heart! I`m FIV+, and I have a history of urinary crystals so I`m on a prescription diet, which keeps me happy and healthy. I`m looking for a calm, quiet, pet-free home with patient cat-savvy adults who understand my boundaries. If you’re looking for a quirky, loyal companion, I might be the one!Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. Story
An equal opportunity supervisor, cuddler, and playmate, this sweet boy is looking for an experienced cat owner who can read body language. He does not like being picked up, but will do full-body flops onto your thigh to show his trust. Head scritches are the absolute best. He likes sturdy mid-level platforms to observe from. We don’t know how he does with other animals, so he should start as the only pet in a household. Kids might be too much, but he would probably do well with multiple adults to boss around.Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. Story
Hi! My name is Pear. And, no, my name does not describe my shape. I’m actually a small, very fit, nine-year-old calico who loves to play. I’m partial to string toys, which I enjoy chasing and punishing. And while I’m not a wild destroyer of furniture or drapes, I will want to getting on all of your window sills, shelves, and countertops at least once. I am not a picky eater, but I’m not adventurous, either. I like my dry food and packaged gravy. Dry treats and cat nip don’t do it for me. You’ll love having me around because I am easy-going and quiet. (The only time I talk much is if you put me in a carrier. Then you’re gonna hear it!) I like pets, but my favorite way to connect with humans is to smell their faces. (Don’t judge!) During the day, I mostly want to be around you, but not on you. But at night, I’d love to curl up on your lap as we watch TV. When we go to bed, you’ll find out that night-time snuggling is my specialty. I’m pretty adaptable. I don’t need long to feel comfortable in a new space, but sometimes the adjustment period throws me off a bit. I have been known to poop outside the litter box on occasion (not all the time) when I’m adjusting to change.I don’t know how I would do with other cats, animals, or kids. But I do get bored sometimes, so a house where there are often people around and things are catified (you know, set up to make a cat feel welcome) would work best for me. I’m looking forward to meeting you…and sniffing your face.
