Story
Raven is my name and kind of like a raven, I am a 'loner'... except for the puppies i had when I arrived at the rescue... I was saved by a trapper on the streets, they weren't even there to save ME that day, but they did!!! I am obviously a beautiful girl, big and solid as well as black and brindly. I am a loving girl, in my own way... i lived on the streets for who knows how long and I honestly am not a cuddly girl or even a sit by your feet dog, YET... I have all kinds of love to give, you can see in my eyes that I have always dreamed of someone with the patience to love me for who I am and who I can be!! I am great on a leash and do love walking around and exploring. I am good with other dogs and likely would do best with another dog who is calm and confident with his/her family. I am so so ready for you, I have the shepherd double coat so I will shed in your house, must have a great vacuum cleaner and tolerance of hair :) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
She was found in the middle of nowhere, in the bones, and with too much fear, she tried to bite us until she could understand that we were not going to hurt her, we just wanted to help her, and she got on her belly, letting me know that she trusted me. She is a really sweet, intelligent, loving dog, she has too much love to give, and she needs to receive even more. She is a very loyal dog, and tends to dance with her front paws when she gets excited. She gets excited when she goes for a walk, she likes to see new places and sometimes she is a little shy at first with strangers but she understands quickly when people don't want to hurt her. On the contrary when she knows that people are a threat to her or to you, she is very protective. She gets along well with very few male dogs, she is dominant and does not usually play with other dogs, but she gets along very well with adults and children, she would be ideal for a family with small children, she knows how to measure her strength, and she is not at all rude with babies. The $550.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to Oregon or Washington. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash.

Story
Leggs is a resilient 32 pound, 10 month old pup working hard to become part of the world around him. While he’s naturally timid because he was feral the first three months of his life, he’s been bravely approaching new challenges and turned into the most amazing dog at home. Leggs is very intelligent and sensitive. He’s a bit cuddler and loves wrapping himself up in a blanket and hunkering down with his soft toys. He’s fantastic on a leash and incredibly gentle with myself, my children, and other dogs (including my super senior). He is crate trained, goes to the door when he needs to go potty, leash trained, and doing well on basic obedience and threshold training. He’s done well on trips to the park, long-leash walking on nature trails, and trips to pet-friendly stores such as Petco. His perfect home would be one that understands his initial need to decompress. After that, you can expect the most loyal and intuitive companion. He is not a fan of cats so no kitties please. Leggs is being fostered in Texas but can be transported out of state. You can apply directly for Leggs by clicking the Apply for Adoption button on the linked page. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-835 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. This benefit includes free access to Petcademy's team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle your new family member into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours (Monday-Friday).

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Juno! Juno is a 5-year-old, 60 lb Shepherd mix who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. With his stunning brindle coat and soulful eyes, Juno may look a little intimidating at first glance ~ but he’s truly a sweet, loving, and loyal boy once you get to know him! Juno bonds deeply with his people and loves being out and about with his handler. He would make an excellent adventure companion for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle. He’s affectionate, eager to be close to his person, and may even jump up for an enthusiastic “hug” when he’s excited to see you. Once Juno chooses his person, he’s all in. He’s a smart, eager-to-please dog who thrives with structure and consistency. Juno already knows sit, down, and his adorable “happy spin” at mealtime, and he would do great in a home that wants to continue working on training while providing both mental and physical outlets. Juno walks well on leash and enjoys getting out for walks and exploring. He would do best in a standalone home with a fully fenced yard (no apartments or condos) where he has space to decompress and move freely. When it comes to other dogs, Juno can do well with canine companions, especially with slow, thoughtful introductions. He has made dog friends and enjoys playing, particularly with larger female dogs, which tend to be his favorite match. He could also be happy as an only dog. An adult-only home or a home without young children (and no cats) is recommended, as Juno is strong, enthusiastic, and still working on some manners. Juno has so much love and loyalty to give ~ he’s just waiting for the right person or family to see what an incredible dog he truly is! Juno is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $400.

Story
Dutch just arrived at his foster's home and is settling in well! He is learning quickly, and integrating into the pack well. This lovely boy has a moderate-high energy level, high food and toy drive, but a surprisingly low prey drive. He is curious, but neutral around the foster chicken flock! Dutch has done well with strangers entering the home and the neighbors kids. He loves ball and would do pretty much anything for it. A former stray, Dutch is still learning how to be polite in the house. He is curious and interested in everything and will counter-surf and dive into the trash if not appropriately supervised. We think his ideal home would be moderately active with at least one other dog friend for him to hang out with. He would love a yard or a place to run and express his zoomies! With his drives and energy levels, Dutch could be a good soft sport prospect. (Anyone looking for their next agility pal? Dutch is your man!) He is learning all of his basic obedience and enjoys working for his food.  Stay tuned for updates! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If you are interested in adopting this pet please complete an application! Story
With her gorgeous brindle coat, human-like eyes, and the prettiest ember coloring, Rainee Bee is the kind of dog that stops you in your tracks. Add in her happy personality and incredibly loving nature, and you’ve got a girl who doesn’t just catch your attention… she keeps your heart. She’s happy, loving, and full of sweet personality, with the cutest little bursts of playful energy mixed in with her cozy, homebody charm. Rainee Bee may take a moment to warm up in new environments or with new people, but once she knows you, she lights up in the most special way. Her tail starts wagging, her goofy side comes out, and suddenly you’ve gained the most devoted, affectionate companion who just wants to be near you. She tends to open up especially quickly with women, and once you’re in her circle, her love is easy, genuine, and completely heart-melting. Watch her video and fall in love with her: https://youtu.be/2df99z-eqo0?si=iMP1fHgedij04Z4R Rainee Bee is believed to be a pittie mix approximately 2 years old and currently weighs 48 lbs. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Rainee really does teach you how to slow down in life and to appreciate everything around you. She loves laying out in the backyard, belly up and just soaking it all in like there’s no care in the world. She’s just a sweet and cuddly homebody that thrives in a slower paced environment with people that have the exact same mindset as she does. She loves a good snuggle and can be very affectionate towards the person she bonds with. Rainee promises to never pull your arm off looking for love from a stranger. She will take a moment to get to know you before professing her love, but… psst—don’t tell her we told you this, but Rainee’s heart is easily won with patience, gentle voices and trust. Once you're in her corner, it's game over! You’ll forever be her favorite person and you’ll gain the sweetest little shadow. The same can be said about Rainee when she is meeting new people. She will take a moment to get to know them but as long as she is with the people that she knows, loves and trusts, she quickly realizes your guests are an extension of her favorite people and she'll be resting her head on their lap and snuggling with them in no time. Especially towards women, she tends to open up fastest with women. She is good around men too and has been around plenty of them. It just takes her a little bit longer to feel fully comfortable around men and prefers to be around patient gentle toned men in life. Not only is Rainee your next best friend but she will also be your dog's next best friend! She has been introduced to so many different types of dogs and thrives around other dogs. Rainee is currently fostered with multiple dogs in the home and she gets along great with all of them. She is great about matching energies with other dogs, from romping, bouncing, wrestling gently, and throwing paws with dogs who enjoy that style. When play is done, she’ll calmly walk away and enjoy the fresh air. Rainee is shy when she first meets new dogs and will do best in a home with a doggy friend that will allow her to get the lay of the land, feel comfortable, etc. and then the rest is history. Rainee is good about sharing treats, affection, couch time and toys with her dog friends too. Speaking of toys, this little lady loves them! Especially stuffy toys! She loves tossing them up in the air and catching them like she’s air bud from the movies. She also does the cutest little hops when she’s playing too. Rainee knows how to entertain herself quietly with a chew toy or a stuffy. She can be relaxing on the couch with you by her side while you’re watching tv or even working from home and there will be Rainee quietly chewing her toy entertaining herself. She also has fantastic house manners! She is crate trained, potty trained, has never destroyed anything in the home, and doesn't get into anything she isn't supposed to. Rainee also met our house cat Biggie and met him appropriately and was very respectful around him. She did not chase Biggie, nor was she bothered by Biggie jumping or doing what cats do. Biggie also felt comfortable around her as well. We do not know if she has ever lived in a home before with a cat and this was our first time seeing her with a cat. If you have a cat in the home, we can arrange for her to have a sleepover with a cat upon request. Just let us know! Rainee would do best in a home with a backyard in a more residential area rather than in the heart of the city with all the noises that come with the city life. Rainee has great listening ears and some noises do spook her so a quieter neighborhood will ultimately be best for her. She also just loves to spend time outside and sunbathe and play with her dog friends. If you’re looking for a sweet, happy dog with personality, affection, and just the right balance of playful energy and cozy companionship, Rainee is ready to bring all of that and more into your life. We are willing to test Rainee Bee with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
Hi, I’m Wyatt!I have a heart of gold and a lot of love and cuddles to give. I would probably do best in a home without other dogs so I can decompress and settle in. My owner recently passed away, and while it’s been a tough time, I`m ready to find a new person or family to love.I’m a very sweet guy who loves back scratches, and I’ve been told my eyes are pretty irresistible. I might bark when we first meet—it’s just my way of saying hello—but give me a moment and I’ll quickly become your friend.I have so much love to give, and we’d be so happy to share it with you.If you’d like to meet me, please visit The NOAH Center and ask to speak with an Adoptions Matchmaker.
