Remy is a black frenchie/pug beautiful little dog. He’s 4 years old very sweet and friendly and really laid back. He’s 26 pounds and current with his shots.His favorite thing to do is lay down on his soft furry bed and nap. He does enjoy walks but gets tired after 45 minutes of walking and like a little break then he’ll start back walking. He’s a very friendly dog and need to be with a family that don’t have mean violent animals around. He’s also an inside dog, he’s lived inside my home sense he was 2 months. Hi! My name is Loki! I’m a darling brown brindle French Bulldog, approximately 2 yr of age and 30 lbs. My foster Mom says I’m a bundle of fun! I love all people and every dog I meet, so it’s pretty hard not to love me! I get so excited that my usual greeting is some pretty impressive jumping (my foster Mom says it’s not good for me to do that so I’m learning to control myself, but it’s hard)! I’m a happy, friendly, active boy and I keep busy just being busy. Whether exploring the yard/house, playing with toys, or my favorite thing which is playing with my doggie friends, you will find me doing something all the time. I’m always ready to go with you and down for doing anything fun. I’m crate trained and sleep quietly through the night (after some bone chewing). I'm housetrained I’m good on leash (although I need reminders not to pull) and I love going on my daily walks. I’m such a ‘people dog’ and really just love being with my humans… belly rubs are a major plus!! My favorite thing is playing with other doggie friends. I’m good with dogs of all sizes as long as they can handle my exuberance and play style. My ideal home will have another young dog to match my energy and play. I have no experience with kids and due to my exuberance and mouthy play my new home should not have children under 7 yrs of age. Although I’m a very healthy boy (per my veterinarian) my breed comes with certain predisposed medical issues so my new family should be well aware of these issues and the costs involved with owning my breed. My adoption fee is reflective of the high costs of neutering this breed…adoption fees include health examination, current basic vaccinations, neuter, microchip, flea and deworming treatment along with any other medical/dental deemed necessary by our veterinarian.

French Bulldog Age: 2-3 yrs old Female, Spayed 18 lbs Adoption Fee: Donation (includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations) Francine was brought to the Oakland Shelter as a stray. During the intake process, shelter staff noticed fecal and urine “leakage.” Upon examination, Francine was diagnosed with sacrocaudal dysgenesis, a common condition in dogs bred with no tails (pugs, bulldogs, Corgis, etc.) The tail isn’t allowed to fully form resulting in defects such as incontinence (bowel and urinary). Unfortunately, Francine is incontinent, requiring her to wear diapers while in the house. Our experienced foster homes are happy to consult with prospective adopters in the proper care of an incontinent dog. With the proper materials and routine, caring for an incontinent dog is fairly easy. She also had a “cherry eye” which was repaired during her spay surgery. Otherwise, Francine is a friendly, loyal, playful, confident dog. At the adoption center she wants attention from everyone who visits. She lives in a foster home with another French bulldog (who is available for adoption from another rescue group), and they get along very well, However, being a “bully” breed, she can be a little bit of a bully with smaller dogs and cats.
